  • Publication number: 20240146416
Abstract: A method for calibrating an optical transceiver. The method can include configuring optical switches to enable routing at least one output signal of modulator circuitry operably coupled to a first receive path of a coherent optical transceiver. The method can include configuring the input to at least one modulator to generate at least one first stimulus signal. The method can include configuring a path from the first receiver analog-to-digital converter to an adaptive algorithm circuitry. The method can include adapting at least one bias setting of a photodiode associated with the first receiver in response to at least one first stimulus detected at the first receiver analog-to-digital converter to an adaptive algorithm circuitry. The method can include determining an optimum value of a photodiode associated with the first receiver.

  • Patent number: 11323927
Abstract: A method for determining whether a target cell has experienced interference due to Passive Intermodulation (PIM) distinguished from other forms of interference at cellular network sites during a time window. In one aspect, the method includes defining a set of N time slices and obtaining a first performance metric for each of the N time slices. The method includes selecting a subset of the N time slices using a set of N first performance metrics where the subset of N time slices includes a first time slice. For the first time slice, at least a first data point is determined using a performance metric for the target cell that was collected during the first time slice. The method includes using the first data point and a supervised learning model to determine whether the target cell has experience PIM interference during the time window.

  • Patent number: 7529280
Abstract: A tunable laser has a first optical element spaced apart from a second optical element to form a laser cavity of fixed length there between. An optical gain medium is in at least part of the laser cavity A third optical element is selectively spaced apart from and facing the first optical element or is selectively spaced apart from and facing the second optical element.

  • Publication number: 20070267057
Abstract: An optical device includes a first substrate and a sub-wavelength form-birefringent metal oxide retarder plate formed on at least a portion of the substrate. A silicon oxide or silicon oxynitride layer contacts at least a surface of the retarder plate, and a second substrate, having at least one micro-electro-mechanical system device, is bonded to the silicon oxide or silicon oxynitride layer via a second silicon oxide or silicon oxynitride layer.
