Abstract: An example 3D model generation system wherein a procedural-rule generation application is configured to receive portions of a source 3D model of a given object type; receive position information defining intended relative positions of those portions in a target 3D model of the given object type; receive or specify scaling rules associated with the portions; and generate procedural rules, based on the portions, position information and scaling rules, for generation of the target 3D model based on a given value of the target size; and a model generation application is configured, at runtime, to: receive the procedural rules and an input value of the target size; and based on the received procedural rules and the input value, generate the target 3D model having the input value of the target size by procedural generation.

Abstract: Embodiments provide object visualisation systems. An object visualisation system comprises a tracking system, an image capture unit and a visualisation unit. The tracking system determines an origin point location, and identifies the relative positions of object substitutes among a plurality of object substitutes comprising tracking identifiers relative to the origin point location using the tracking identifiers. The tracking system also communicates the relative position information for the plurality of object substitutes to the visualisation unit. The image capture unit captures an image of at least one object substitute from among the plurality of object substitutes, and communicates the captured image to the visualisation unit. The visualisation unit tracks the origin point location and generates an augmented image using the origin point location, the relative position information for the plurality of object substitutes and the captured image of at least one object substitute.

Abstract: Embodiments provide layout configuration systems. A computer implemented layout configuration method comprises obtaining layout information for a space. The method further comprises automatically determining key object positioning within the space, and automatically configuring key objects using the layout information. The method also comprises automatically determining regular object positioning using key object positioning and configuration and layout information, and automatically configuring regular objects using layout information and regular object positioning. The method also comprises outputting layout configuration information.
