  • Patent number: 10555658
Abstract: A mop comprising a mop handle with a grip end and a mopping end and includes spline ribs that surround a surface of the mop handle. The mop includes a ratchet sleeve surrounding the mop handle and is rotatable in first and second directions. The ratchet sleeve includes a flexible collar with an inward-facing integral pawl on an interior portion of the flexible collar. The mop includes a mop head at the mopping end of the mop handle. The mop head has a first end connected to the mopping end and a second end connected to the ratchet sleeve. The flexible collar is flexible between a locked position where the pawl engages with the spline ribs preventing rotation of the ratchet sleeve in the first rotational direction, and an unlocked position where the pawl disengages the spline ribs allowing rotation of the ratchet sleeve in first and second rotational directions.

  • Patent number: 10443221
Abstract: A resiliently deformable toilet plunger including a generally cup-shaped bell portion having an interior space. A socket is formed on the bell portion. A flange portion extends from the bell portion opposite the socket and includes an open end. The flange portion defines an arcuate tapering tubular passage wherein the interior space communicates with the open end. An annular skirt is formed at a junction of the bell portion and the flange portion, the skirt including a base portion attached to the bell portion and a terminal end opposite the base portion, the skirt extending outwardly from the junction and at an angle such that the terminal end is below a plane defined by the junction, wherein the angle is from about 20° to about 70°.

  • Publication number: 20050244795
Abstract: A hammer head training target for enhancing the level of training by training realistically and effectively with a life-like target head. The inventive device includes a life-like resilient foam head having an integral oval-shaped handle and a core insert clamshell encasing that traps the handle in place. The head resembles the head of a human being with eye, ear, nose, mouth and temple features. An opening is provided in the back side of the head for access to the handle. The handle is oval in shape and is strategically located at the centroid of the head for optimum angle position for the trainer's hand. The handle is sandwich between the left-hand and the right-hand core insert encasings. The left-hand core insert captivates half of the handle structure. It contains half of the enclosure for protecting the hand during training. The right-hand core insert captivates half of the handle structure. It contains half of the enclosure for protecting the hand during training.

  • Patent number: 5559662
Abstract: A fused disconnect switch including a plurality of maintenance and installation enhancing features is disclosed. For example, a bipolar LED is provided as an alarm indicator so that the fused disconnect switch will function in power distribution systems which operate on both positive and negative voltages. Additionally, a manual test tab is provided for checking the alarm circuitry and a viewing window is provided so that the presence or absence of a fuse in the fused disconnect device can be ascertained without removing the fuse holder.

  • Patent number: 5355274
Abstract: A fused disconnect device constructed according to the present invention comprises a housing, a line side terminal, a load side terminal, a protection fuse holder assembly removably installed in a cavity of said housing, and a separate alarm fuse removably installed in said housing. The alarm fuse may remain installed in the housing regardless of the presence of the protection fuse holder assembly, so that an alarm will be generated whenever the inventive device has interrupted power to the load. In a first embodiment of the invention, the disconnect device is adapted for front-access mounting in a power distribution panel. In a second embodiment of the invention, the disconnect device is adapted for rear-access mounting in a power distribution panel. A third embodiment is adapted for use in higher-current applications.
