  • Publication number: 20220071531
Abstract: A blood collecting syringe that advantageously indicates whether the needle has correctly entered the blood vessel, typically a vein. Correct placement is determined when the user observes flashback, or blood entering the syringe. Flashback can be undetected in certain situations due to lack of pressure in the patients vascular system, typically the venous system. This syringe includes an internal, luminal region having an adjustable volume. When desired, the initial luminal volume can be increased to create a partial vacuum. This partial vacuum results in an improved detection of flashback.

  • Patent number: 10130551
Abstract: A condom features a generally cylindrical sheath with an open proximal end and a distal end that fits onto a male penis. The condom also features a tether which is connected at the distal end of the sheath. The tether has an axial length greater than the axial length of the sheath and is designed to be grasped by a female partner during intercourse and placed into a rubbing contact with the clitoris.

  • Patent number: 10086144
Abstract: A syringe barrel including a tubular, barrel body operable to receive a syringe plunger at a proximal end thereof and a syringe needle at a distal end and sidewalls of said syringe body being flexible and elliptical in cross-section and opposing compression of said syringe barrel at opposite ends a major axis of said syringe barrel cross-section serving to operably flex the elliptical cross-section of said syringe body into a more circular cross-sectional configuration and increasing the volume of said syringe barrel body and concomitantly serving to create a relative vacuum within said syringe body as compared with the configuration of said syringe tubular, barrel body prior to application of said compression.

  • Patent number: 8550309
Abstract: A disposable molded dispenser for a non-pressurized container capable of dispensing a variety of fluid materials having a deformable spout chamber with an integral outlet valve through which fluid is expelled as the spout is selectively depressed compressing the chamber. A molded inlet valve serves to permit fluid to be pushed by ambient air pressure from a container into the spout chamber when pressure on the spout is removed and the spout chamber is restored to an initial configuration.
