Abstract: Features relating to a model that predicts an amount of vapor production of a vaporizable material from a vaporizer device are provided. The model, for example a machine learning model and/or a statistical model, is developed as a function of various factors relating to operation of the vaporizer device. The model may be integrated in a system to provide user control and visibility into the amount of vapor production. In accordance with implementations of the current subject matter, an amount of consumed vapor may be determined. Such determination advantageously allows for a user to be informed of an amount consumed as well as optionally limit or otherwise control an amount consumed.

Abstract: Features relating to vaporizer devices configured to provide a fixed amount of aerosol for user consumption are provided. In particular, aspects of the current subject matter relate to utilizing data associated with a cartridge to identify an amount of aerosol to be generated by a vaporizer device, and applying to a heating element an amount of energy to achieve the desired amount of aerosol. Dose control settings may be enabled to provide for the vaporizer device to generate a number of doses based on a selected dose size.

Abstract: In an aspect, there is provided an apparatus which may include a cartridge and a vaporizer body. The cartridge may include a cartridge body defining a reservoir configured to contain vaporizable material, a vaporizing assembly positioned within the cartridge body. The vaporizer body may include a receptacle configured to receive at least a portion of the cartridge, and control circuitry comprising at least one processor and at least one memory disposed within the vaporizer body, the at least one memory including instructions which when executed cause operations comprising: storing an event indicative of detection of an insertion of the cartridge into the vaporizer body; requesting, from the cartridge, cartridge information; receiving, in response to the request, the cartridge information stored at the cartridge; and configuring, based at least in part of the received cartridge information, the vaporizer device for vaporizing of the vaporizable material.
