  • Publication number: 20250124743
Abstract: A method may include obtaining, at a first device, video data of a video communication session between a first user of the first device and a second user of a second device. The video data may include sign language content. The method may also include procuring multiple sign language objects. Each of the sign language objects may corresponding to a video segment of the video data that includes multiple video frames, and including features of the video segment that conveys one or more word. The method may further include obtaining, at the first device, communication data representing the sign language content in the video data and associating, each of the sign language objects with a different portion of the communication data. The method may further include constructing a sign language recognition model using the sign language objects, the communication data, and the association therebetween.

  • Patent number: 11726392
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable mediums for autofocusing cameras in a videophone are disclosed. A videophone system may include a camera having a lens, a lens actuator configured to move the lens, and an image sensor configured to capture images received through the lens. The videophone system may also include a distance sensor configured to determine an object of focus distance between the camera lens and the object of focus. The system includes memory for storing instructions that when executed by a processor cause the camera lens to automatically focus on the object of focus. The processor includes a lookup table configured to correlate an object of focus distance determined by the distance sensor with a digital number that can be converted by a digital to analog converter to a power value sufficient to power lens actuator to move the lens to a predetermined focus position.

  • Patent number: 9063655
Abstract: A port multiplier dynamically determines and reports its identity based on a number of supported downstream port connections. The number of supported downstream port connections can dynamically change. The port multiplier identifies devices connected to its downstream ports, whether storage devices or other port multipliers. Based on a total number of downstream ports, the port multiplier reports its identity upstream. The upstream reporting can be to another port multiplier, or the host device if directly connected to the host device. The port multiplier receives storage address space allocation from upstream based on its reported identity, and allocates the storage address space to its downstream ports.
