    Abstract: A frame construction, in particular for a rack system, includes two vertical columns each in the form of a rectangular hollow profiled column element having a longitudinal groove, the two groove legs of which lying opposite each other each have on the inside two longitudinal ribs, between which a hole pattern strip is inserted into the hollow profiled column element. A plurality of horizontal crossbeams, which are fastened to the two columns, each are in the form of a rectangular hollow profiled crossbeam element. Crossbeam connectors are fastened to the end faces of the hollow profiled crossbeam element. The crossbeam connectors each engage, with at least one pin, in one of the holes of the hole pattern strips.
