  • Publication number: 20240117569
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and an apparatus for producing a molded fiber article. The process comprises the steps of —dissolving fibrous materials in water to form a fibrous material suspension in a pulper, —removing moisture from the fibrous material suspension by pressing to form a molded fiber article in a mold and/or —drying the molded fiber article by supplying heat, —demolding the molded fiber article from the mold. The process is characterized by the feature whereby, in mold drying of the molded fiber article in the mold, a moisture content of the molded fiber article of not more than 10% by weight or not more than 7.5% by weight or not more than 5% by weight is achieved.

  • Patent number: 11938697
Abstract: A method for automated manufacturing of shoe soles comprises the steps of: loading a transfer device with at least one outsole element and at least one supporting element, positioning the loaded transfer device adjacent a first part and a second part of a sole mold, transferring the at least one outsole element from the transfer device to the first part and transferring the at least one supporting element from the transfer device to the second part of the sole mold, filling the sole mold with a plurality of individual particles, and applying a medium to bond and/or fuse the particles with each other and with the at least one outsole element.

  • Patent number: 11697229
Abstract: The invention relates to a crack-split moulding tool for producing a foam particle part, having two mould halves (2, 3). The mould halves (2, 3) are pivotably mounted relative to one another such that they can be arranged at a varying distance from each other in certain sections when being filled with foam particles and when pressing together, are moved together at a varying distance until in a closed position, due to a pivoting movement. As a result, it is possible to homogeneously compress areas of the moulding cavity (6) having a different thickness and to compress in a different manner, area having the same thickness.

  • Patent number: 11292164
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of controlling a step of a process carried out by a machine. The invention is characterized in that a sensor is used to measure a variable characteristic with an exponential course for a step, and with the aid of several consecutive measurements of the characteristic variable a time constant of the exponential change is determined, and the step is ended after it has been carried out for a period of time corresponding to a predetermined multiple of the time constant.

  • Publication number: 20190168428
Abstract: The present invention relates to a filling injector and to a method for operating such a filling injector. The filling injector has a sensor for detecting a predetermined detection position of a closing piston unit and a counting device for counting the number of detection positions of the closing piston unit in which it is situated in the predetermined detection position. By means of this, when a predetermined number of detection positions is reached, a maintenance signal can be emitted and the maintenance interval can be adapted to the actual use of the filling injector.
