  • Publication number: 20230369715
Abstract: An electric battery (1) for an electrically or partially electrically driven motor vehicle, movable or stationary unit has a battery housing (5) and a plurality of battery cells (2) arranged therein. According to the invention, the battery housing (5) is made from a material containing silicon and/or calcium and/or rubber and/or silicone to produce such an electric battery (1) with a minimum of economic and technical design effort while ensuring said battery is still highly operationally reliable.

  • Publication number: 20230223648
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric battery (1) for a motor vehicle which is electrically or partly electrically driven or a movable or stationary unit, having a battery housing (5) and a plurality of battery cells (2) arranged therein. The aim of the invention is to allow such an electric battery (1) to be produced with minimal costs and technical structural complexity while still having a high degree of operational reliability. This is achieved in that the battery housing (5) is made of an expanded or foamed plastic.

  • Publication number: 20190296287
Abstract: A battery assembly has a plurality of laterally adjacent frames, respective battery cells fixed in the frames, and respective pole extenders projecting upward from the cells and each having an outer end that is horizontally bent to form a downwardly directed lower extender face. A conductive connector has for each of the cells a respective connector arm and is insertable into the frames into a position with the arms under the lower faces of the respective outer ends. A wedge bears upward on the connector arms, downward on the frame or cells, and presses the arms upward against the lower faces of the outer ends of the respective extenders. A wedge formation on the frame is underneath and bears upward on the wedge.

  • Publication number: 20190296299
Abstract: A cell terminal for connecting cells to form a vehicle battery pack has an inner end connected to a pole of one of the cells and an outer end spaced from the and connectable integrally to a pole of another of the cells. The inner and outer ends are generally planar and extend generally at a right angle to each other. An elastically deformable U-shaped bight web connected unitarily between the inner and outer ends permits relative movement of the cells without disconnection.
