  • Publication number: 20130299609
Abstract: In a final machining method for adapting a first surface of a fuel injector component to a second surface of said fuel injector component or of a second fuel injector component, or to a reference surface, e.g., for a common rail diesel injector with a register nozzle needle, the first surface and/or the second surface is deformed at least partially plastically in order to reduce a dimensional accuracy deviation which is possibly mutual. Furthermore, in a fuel injector component, e.g., a nozzle needle, nozzle needle sleeve, register nozzle needle, nozzle body, nozzle assembly and/or fuel injector, e.g., for a common rail injection system of a motor vehicle, a first surface of the fuel injector component and/or a second surface of said fuel injector component or of a second fuel injector component is deformed at least partially plastically in order to reduce a dimensional accuracy deviation.

  • Publication number: 20130226474
Abstract: A method for determining an error in a pressure, which is measured by means of a pressure sensor in a pressure accumulator for accumulating fuel that can be let out of the pressure accumulator via an injection valve and injected into a cylinder, wherein the method comprises: determining at least two 3-tuples of a first pressure, a period of time, and a second pressure, wherein each first pressure is measured by the pressure sensor; wherein after measuring each first pressure, the valve is opened for a period of time; and wherein after the opening of the valve for the period of time, the second pressure is measured by the pressure sensor; and determining the error of the measured pressure from the at least two 3-tuples.

  • Publication number: 20130219984
Abstract: A method diagnoses an electrical contact connection of an exhaust gas sensor, in which two current sources are used to impress currents into a pump cell and a reference cell of the exhaust gas sensor. If a line is faulty, the relevant current cannot flow and a voltage on the relevant current source assumes a high value. If a second line is faulty, measurement of the voltage on the second connection, which is connected to the connecting point between the two cells, provides a low value when the relevant second connection is isolated from the reference-ground potential by a second switch, since the cell capacitances have not been able to charge to the reference-ground potential.

  • Publication number: 20130206110
Abstract: A high-pressure pump may include a cylinder, a plunger reciprocally driven by an eccentric to pressurize a pump chamber in the cylinder, a rider mounted on the eccentric to allow relative rotation of the eccentric, the rider presenting a face to the plunger, a tappet supported on the face of the rider for transmitting reciprocal movement from the rider to the plunger, and rotatable bearing elements that support the tappet for relative transverse movement of the face of the rider during operation of the pump. The rotatable bearing elements may be at least partially recessed in a body of the tappet. A common rail fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine comprising a common rail for distributing fuel to a plurality of fuel injectors associated with combustion cylinders of the engine may include such a pump for delivering fuel at high pressure to the common rail.

  • Publication number: 20130127315
Abstract: A vehicle data recording device wherein the housing is connected to a first supporting limb and a second supporting limb of the supporting bracket in such a way that it can pivot about a pivoting axis, wherein the pivoting axis is arranged above a housing central axis with respect to the height of the housing, and wherein the smallest distance between the pivoting axis and a mounting plate, connecting the supporting limb, of the supporting bracket is larger than the largest distance between the pivoting axis and a rear-side housing wall of the housing, with the result that the supporting bracket can be pivoted through an angle of 180° over a housing rear side, between a first position in a region underneath a housing lower side and a second position in a region above the housing upper side.

  • Publication number: 20130122760
Abstract: A clamping element for fastening an electrical conductor to a printed circuit board, by which electrically conductive connection between the electrical conductor and the printed circuit board is produced. In order to achieve an inexpensive and completely automatable possibility for connection between electrical conductors and printed circuit boards, the clamping element is in the form of a stamped sheet-metal part and has at least two clamping wings and one clamping web, which is arranged between the clamping wings. The clamping web is capable of being bent in such a way that the clamping wings clamp in the conductor. At least one securing claw is formed on the clamping wings. The securing claw can be pressed into the printed circuit board.
