  • Patent number: 11105079
Abstract: A toilet having a first-magnet secured to the terminal end of the toilet's flush-arm and a second-magnet secured to the toilet's lid such that when the lid is in its open or up position, the two magnets align preventing the flush-arm from rotating upward to cause the toilet to flush. Conversely, when the lid is down and the two magnets are separated, the flush-arm can be rotated upward causing the toilet to flush. In another example, a magnet-attracting component, such as iron, cobalt or nickel, can be substituted for one of the magnets. A kit for retrofitting an existing toilet is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10928506
Abstract: A system and method for controlling multiple transponders in an aircraft to prevent the aircraft from becoming invisible to air traffic control. If a first transponder is turned off when the aircraft is airborne, a second transponder will automatically switch on. In some implementations, if the second transponder is turned off, a third transponder will automatically switch on. In one implementation, the third transponder cannot be turned off while the touchdown-relay confirms the aircraft is in the air. When the aircraft has landed, whichever one of the three transponders is on may be turned off. In some implementations the multiple transponders are arranged in a circular daisy chain.

  • Patent number: 10455939
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a one-piece, injection-molded stackable rocking chair. More specifically, it is directed to the configuration of the rockers that join the rocking chair's front and rear legs. The rockers' interiors contain a plurality of closely-spaced thin-wall ribs configured so that the rocker's interior structure provides the rigidity and structural integrity necessary to pass the government and industry strength tests. The thin-wall ribs may be, for example, configured in a zigzag manner, forming acute angles with respect to the rockers' sidewalls to form triangular-shaped and/or parallelogram-shaped cells. The rockers' top surface may be open so that the thin-wall ribs and cells are visible from above and the rockers' bottom surfaces are closed to spread the weight of an occupied rocking chair over an area large enough to not damage the floor upon which the rocking chair sits. Alternatively, to provide a different aesthetic, the top may be closed and the bottom open.

  • Publication number: 20170079436
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a monobloc rocking chair. The rocking chair includes a seat, backrest, a pair of front legs, a pair of rear legs, and rockers extending between front and rear legs. The chair is molded of a single material include a downwardly opening cavity and formed to taper outwardly from top to bottom. The cavity is formed by the seat being supported directly from below by front legs and being supported directly from above by a backrest. Rear legs are spaced from the seat. This allows two identical chairs to nest when vertically stacked for compact shipping, storage, or display. The monobloc rocking chair can include one or more arms or be armless.
