    Abstract: A water filtration system with replaceable active components. The water filtration system includes an outer housing, an inner filter canister, and a housing cap. The outer housing includes an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The housing cap includes a cap inlet opening. The inner filter canister filters water entering through the cap inlet opening. The outer housing retains and holds replaceable active filter components. The outer housing retains and holds the inner filter canister within the outer housing. The inner filter canister includes a connector for coupling to a connector on the underside of the housing cap. The housing cap engages with the inlet opening to secure the inner filter canister and the active filter components within the outer housing. Water exiting from the inner filter canister will be further filtered by the active filter components before exiting the outer housing via the outlet opening.

    Abstract: A filtration system that includes a coarse filter, a fine filter, and a pump. The coarse filter filters out sediment from water passing through the coarse filter. The fine filter filters out foreign material larger than a selected pore size. The pump pumps water when a DC voltage is applied to the fluid pump. The pump is in-line with and coupled to the coarse filter and the fine filter such that water is drawn into or pushed into the coarse filter and/or the fine filter. The filtration system includes inlet and outlet connectors, the inlet connector directly coupled to the coarse filter to receive water into the coarse filter and the outlet connector directly coupled to the fine filter to output filtered water received from the fine filter. A power source is coupled to the fluid pump and outputs the DC voltage applied to the fluid pump.

An inlet connector of the canister is directly coupled to the disinfection apparatus and configured to allow water to enter the ultraviolet light fixture. An outlet connector of the canister is configured to output disinfected water received from the ultraviolet light fixture. The power source is communicatively coupled to the disinfection apparatus and configured to output a DC voltage to the disinfection apparatus. A flow sensor of the disinfection apparatus is configured to apply the DC voltage to the ultraviolet light fixture when a flow of water is detected.

The first and second LED fixtures are arranged within the interior space, such that objects placed within the interior space will be disinfected by the ultraviolet sources.

    Abstract: An antimicrobial system for disinfecting surrounding surfaces and air passing through an apparatus mounted above a space to be disinfected. The system includes a disinfecting apparatus that includes an ultraviolet source emitting ultraviolet light for disinfecting exposed surfaces. The system also includes a fixture module retaining and supporting the ultraviolet source within the disinfecting apparatus. The system includes a drive module that positions the ultraviolet source in one of two positions within the fixture module. The ultraviolet source emits ultraviolet light onto exposed surfaces when in a “ready” position within the fixture module. The ultraviolet source is shielded when in a “storage” position within the fixture module, such that emitted ultraviolet light will not reach the exposed surfaces. The disinfecting apparatus is configured to disinfect air passing through the disinfecting apparatus when the ultraviolet source is in the “storage” position.
