  • Patent number: 10745801
Abstract: The cutting plate 12 includes a base body 22 made of a sintered hard metal. On a top side 23 of the base body 22 there are one or multiple intermediate layers 25 that include an adhesion-promoting layer 26. The adhesion-promoting layer 26 is made of a boron-containing nitride of a transition metal of group IV, group V, and group VI, and contains a plurality of small plates 31 oriented at an angle relative to the top side 23. A diamond layer that is grown on the adhesion-promoting layer 26 includes stalk-shaped crystals, oriented vertically relative to the top side 23, having an aspect ratio greater than three.

Date of Patent: August 18, 2020
    Assignee: Hilti Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Cord-Henrik Surberg, Orlaw Massler, Matthias Leischner, Stefan Rosiwal

  • Patent number: 6640914
Abstract: A percussion bores for forming borer in a stone material and including a chisel stem (2) having a prismatic cross-section and provided with a chiseling head (3) and at least one radial opening (4), a twist drill (6) extending through the cylindrical through-bore (3) of the chisel stem and projecting beyond the chiseling head (7), a drilling head (10) with cutting elements (9) provided at the projecting end of the twist drill and a shank (12) provided at another end of the twist drill, and a stop (13) provided between the shank (12) and the chisel stem (2), with a drill stem being offset radially inwardly with respect to an outer diameter of the shank in the region of the stop.

  • Publication number: 20020076272
Abstract: A fixing member (1) designed for at least partially interlocking axial securement in a solid body (4) by means of an initially fluid setting material (2) introduced into a blind borehole (3), and is intermediately mechanically fixed and adjustable. The fixing member (1) is a peripherally closed medium to thickwalled tubular member (5), at least in part radially deformed and of uniform wall thickness having an axial passageway (6) extending through it.

  • Patent number: 6048148
Abstract: An axially extending expansion anchor or dowel has an anchor body (2) with a first end region to be inserted first into a borehole (B) in a receiving material (G) and a trailing second end region in which a load can be applied. The first end region has an axially extending expansion region with at least two expanding tangs (7) separated from one another by axially extending slots. The first end region has a opening (11) into which an expanding body (12) is displaceable axially for radial expansion of the tangs (17). The axially extending opening (11) has an inner axially extending surface (10) closer to the axis of the anchor body and formed by a guide pin (9) of the anchor body (2) and an outer axially extending surface formed by the inner surface of the tangs (7). The expanding body (12) is basically sleeve-like shaped and has an inner surface which bears against the inner surface (10) of the opening (11). The outer surface of the expanding body (12) is, at least in part, wedge shaped.
