    Abstract: An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing (3), a number of terminals (4), two rivets and a fixing device (5). The housing (3) forms a D-sub projection (31) defining a number of passageways (32). The fixing device (5) engages with the housing (3) by rivets. The fixing device (5) has four boardlocks (51) extending through a circuit board (6) to suspend the housing (3) beyond an edge of the circuit board (6). Thus, occupied space on circuit board (6) can be conserved.
