  • Patent number: 7772720
Abstract: A secondary power source system, includes a first unit receiving a primary power input and restricting a current used for charging to a predetermined amount, a second unit including a device providing capacitance, receiving a first output from the first unit with restricted current, a third unit generating a second output of a certain voltage, and a fourth unit performing a logical OR operation with the primary power input, first output from the first unit and second output from the second unit, to generate a single third output of a certain voltage.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 3, 2007
Date of Patent: August 10, 2010
    Assignee: SPX Corporation
    Inventors: Phillip McGee, Corey Ermer

  • Patent number: 6931936
Abstract: An apparatus and method for determining pressure and vacuum comprising an adapter that links to a digital tester. The adapter is comprised of at least one pressure sensor, a power source, converter and an interface cable. The pressure sensor attaches to the system to be measured. The detected pressure is transmitted to the adapter and then to the digital tester for displaying to the user. The apparatus can detect pressure beyond 500 pounds per square inch.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 9, 2002
Date of Patent: August 23, 2005
    Assignee: SPX Corporation
Inventors: Kurt Raichle, Corey Ermer, Phillip McGee, Robert Kochie
  • Patent number: 6624641
Abstract: A portable air bag simulator having a circuit that provides selectable resistance values between 0.5 ohms and 6.0 ohms. The air bag simulator can be used to simulate the resistance of a number of air bag models and can simultaneously simulate both the driver side and passenger side airbag.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 26, 2000
Date of Patent: September 23, 2003
    Assignee: SPX Corporation
Inventors: Scott K. Krampitz, Corey Ermer, David Tusa
  • Patent number: 6622109
Abstract: A apparatus for determining the rotational speed of an object or an assembly. The apparatus includes a device that emits a light as well as detect the light reflected from the measured object. A reflective surface is attached to the object to enable it to reflect the light from the device. The device is connected to an analyzer that reads the detected signal and display the results.
