    Abstract: A threshing element for an axial flow combine comprising a chromium steel alloy rasp bar. The rasp bar is cast of chromium-moly white cast iron with an inclined front face with a slope of about 52.5°. The cast iron contains 18% to 23% chromium. The rasp bar walls are about 15 mm thick.
