Abstract: Folding step for a camper (1) or the like, characterized in that it comprises at least two treadboards (3,5), namely a first treadboard (3) and a second treadboard (5) and possibly following treadboards, whereby the first treadboard (3) can be provided in a moving manner on the suspension frame (8) of the camper (1) or the like, and whereby the second treadboard (5) is provided in a moving manner on the first treadboard (3), whereas any following treadboards are provided in a moving manner on one or several of the preceding treadboards, such that the step (2) can be folded at least partly and can be moved in or under the framework (4) of the camper (1) or the like.
