  • Patent number: 5483814
Abstract: An apparatus for working metal workpieces comprises a frame (1), a rotatable tool turret (29) movable up and down and carrying a plurality of punch tools (32) which can be moved into a working position by rotation of the tool turret. The frame (1) is provided with a corresponding stationary rotatable tool turret (33) as carrier for the die tools (34) associated with said punch tools which die tools (34) can be moved into a corresponding working position by rotation of said tool turret (33). The apparatus is made in such a manner that the centre line of the punch tool (32) located in the working position and the corresponding die tool (34) located in the working position intersects the axis of the tool turret (29) and/or the axis of the die tool turret (33).

  • Patent number: 4846034
Abstract: Apparatus for cutting sheet-like material, such as metal, comprising a frame (1), a table (2) for supporting the material plate to be cut, a fixed lower knife (3), an upper knife (4) movable up-and-down and cooperating with the lower knife, said upper knife including a cutting angle with the lower knife. The apparatus further comprises an adjustable stop (6) for determining the width of the material strip to be cut and a plurality of support arms (10) distributed along the length of the apparatus for lifting the fed part of the material plate, the support arms extending transverse to the lower knife and being adjacent to the lower knife with one end, the other end of each support arm being pivotably supported on a supporting beam (12). For each support arm a pressure spring (13) is provided, said support arms during a cutting action each being pivotably downwards by the upper knife against the action of the corresponding pressure spring, while clamping the material strip to be cut.

  • Patent number: 4538949
Abstract: The invention relates to a conveyor device consisting of endless chains or the like, which are adapted to be driven and which are led over end rollers, while cross-bars extend between the chains, the cross-bars carrying teeth, the path which is followed by the cross-bars with the teeth including a conveying portion and an inactive portion which is positioned lower than the conveying portion. According to the invention the inactive portion of the path comprises a stretch, which extends partly towards the conveying portion and partly away from the conveying portion. The invention further relates to an apparatus for loosening and apportioning silage or the like material provided with a storage container, which comprises a carrier conveyor and a loosening conveyor, which loosening conveyor joins this carrier conveyor and is inclined upwardly. This loosening conveyor may be executed as the conveyor device described hereinabove.

  • Patent number: 4532758
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for forming a compressed produce bale, which is provided with a compacting cage, supported on an undercarriage, with an inlet for the produce and a pick-up for collecting the produce. The compacting cage has a polygonal, preferably square or rectangular cross section, and is bounded by at least approximately planar, stiff side walls, the inlet and the compacting cage being adjustable relative to each other in such a manner, that uniform filling of the whole cross sectional shape of the compacting cage is achieved.

  • Patent number: 4341354
Abstract: A device for cutting out and transporting a silage block, comprising a main frame which may be connected to a tractor and which comprises an at least approximately horizontal cross-beam, which carries a plurality of parallel tines and to which an upstanding main frame part is connected, which supports near its upper end an at least approximately horizontal frame member, along which a drive housing may be reciprocated. A sawing or cutting means is guided in this drive housing for upward and downward movement. The upstanding main frame part further supports a pressure frame underneath said frame member which extends near the track of the sawing or cutting means and which may be displaced by actuating means. The pressure frame comprises a plurality of pressure frame parts which are displaceable with respect to each other.

This upstanding main frame part supports near its upper end an at least approximately horizontal frame member, which forms an approximately U-shaped guide along which a drive housing may be reciprocated. A sawing means is guided in this drive housing for upward and downward movement. In both corners of the frame member which are remote from the upstanding main frame part the sawing means is rotatable over at least approximately 90.degree. about an axis of rotation which is at least approximately stationary during this rotating motion and which extends at a distance from the longitudinal center line of the sawing means which is smaller than the width of the sawing means.

  • Patent number: 4188759
Abstract: A sheet for constructing the wall of a substantially cylindrical silo. This sheet has a substantially rectangular periphery and is slightly cylindrically curved according to the radius of the wall of the silo to be constructed. The sheet comprises first and second straight edges opposite one another and first and second curved edges also opposite one another. The sheet is provided with rows of bolt holes adjacent the four edges. The first straight edge and the first curved edge are provided with a flange, both flanges being positioned at the same side of the sheet and extending approximately perpendicularly to the sheet surface, the second straight edge and the second curved edge having no flange. The flange on the first straight edge ends at a distance from the second curved edge.
