C., the acid component comprising a dibasic armoatic carboxylic acid and the alcohol component comprising diols such as 2,2-di(4-beta-hydroxyethyoxy-phenyl-) propane, certain glycidyl esters and certain dihydric aliphatic alcohols.The curable powder-coating composition is applied to a substrate by a powder-coating process and the coated substrate is heated to a temperature of from 120.degree. to 220.degree.
