    Abstract: A waste water filter has a pair of driven chains carried by the frame and extending in a loop. Screen segments are located between the chains, each of the segments having apertures for the passage of fluid and a shelf portion to lift debris. End plates are secured to opposite ends of each of the segments and seal plates are located between the end plates and the chains. Fasteners secure the end plates and seal plates to the chains. Each of the segments has a first edge that overlaps an upstream side of a second edge of an adjacent segment.
