    Abstract: A campfire burner is a self-container device that holds loosely-packed hardwood chips that function as the main fuel for the burner. The chip container is fabricated from a flammable material so that the entire burner burns to ash when used. A chimney and air vents are provided to direct air to the fuel. A fire starter may be provided to allow the camper to start the fire with a single match.
