Abstract: A drag bar for attachment to forks of a tractor for ground levelling includes a frame with two parallel fork ports and two transverse members one of which is a plate having ground scraping elements for breaking the surface of the ground and the other has a leveling surface for compressing and levelling the ground surface. The plate carries front and rear alternately offset rows of the elements and has front and rear edges shaped in a wave pattern. The transverse member further carries a pivotal drag plate with a bottom edge at a height above a lowermost tip of the ground scraping elements. Each of the fork ports includes an upper receptacle for receiving a fork of a tractor and a lower upwardly inclined receptacle for receiving a fork of a skid steer loader. The frame can be divided into separate sections for grading traffic wheel strips of a gravel road.

Abstract: An attachment with cutting discs for use with a prime mover to cut ground material comprises a frame with forward and rear ends, a mounting portion at the rear end which is configured for coupling to a pivotal mounting member of the prime mover which is carried at forward ends of pivotal arms of the prime mover that can be raised or lowered, and a cutting portion at the forward end of the frame comprising a single transversely extending row of cutting discs arranged to cut the ground material in a forward working direction of movement of the prime mover. The single row of cutting discs is spaced from the mounting portion at a prescribed distance of about 4.5-5.5 feet such that cantilever action of the row of discs about the mounting member provides effective cutting action. The attachment includes shields covering the cutting discs.

Abstract: A drag bar for levelling of soil includes a rigid frame with transverse bars attached to a tractor by a support head where the frame can be inverted so that a face with aggressive teeth and a smoother face can operate against the soil while the other faces away from the soil. The mounting allows side-to-side movement of a coupling bar which changes an angle of a forward axis of the frame relative to a forward direction so as to incline the bars to move the soil to one side or the other. The support head includes a pair of side-by-side flex cables which allows pivotal movement of the frame relative to the support head. A gauge plate separate from the frame carried on the forks of the tractor runs over the ground to gauge the height of the frame in the levelling action as the tractor moves forwardly.
