  • Patent number: 11659788
Abstract: A vehicle automated unloading system may include a fill model and an unloading controller. The fill model is a model of a fill characteristic of a container as a function of variables comprising material unloading times, material unloading rates and material unloading locations. The unloading controller is to (a) determine a current model-based fill characteristic of the container using the dynamic fill model and (b) output control signals to adjust at least one of a material unloading time, a material unloading rate and a material unloading location based upon the current model-based fill characteristic of the container.

Date of Patent: May 30, 2023
    Assignee: DEERE & COMPANY
Inventors: Corwin Marcus Puryk, Stephen Robert Corban, Ryan Robert White, Gregory Matthew Shaver, Shveta Vinayak Dhamankar, John Thomas Evans, Ziping Liu, Chufan Jiang

  • Patent number: 7520115
Abstract: A float arm load compensation system for a header of an agricultural harvester includes a header frame; a plurality of header float arms pivotally coupled to the header frame; a cutter bar fixed to forward ends of the plurality of header float arms; at least one conveyor belt supported on the plurality of header float arms and configured to traverse the header perpendicular to the direction of travel of the header, wherein the conveyor belt is further configured to receive crop material cut by the cutter bar; and a plurality of springs, wherein each spring is coupled to an associated header float arm of the plurality of header float arms to exert a force on the associated header float arm compensating for the weight of cut crop material supported by the associated header float arm.

  • Publication number: 20050215299
Abstract: In an agricultural combine, a latch mechanism for attaching a grate to the crop processing unit. The latch mechanism comprises a support bar on the crop processing unit, a support receptacle on the grate, a latch handle, and a latch retainer. The support receptacle envelopes the support bar the when the grate is attached to the crop processing unit, with the latch handle and latch retainer cooperating to hold the support receptacle against the support bar.
