  • Publication number: 20220008019
Abstract: A technology for improving heart rate prediction. In one example, a machine learning model can be trained using photoplethysmogram (PPG) data to classify a signal in a dataset obtained from a generic data source as a heart rate. Thereafter, a PPG dataset generated by a PPG sensor can be input to the machine learning model to classify a PPG signal in the PPG dataset as a predicted heart rate. Accelerometer data generated by an accelerometer can be input to the machine learning model to classify an acceleration signal contained in the accelerometer data as a heart rate, where movement represented by the acceleration signal mimics the heart rate. The PPG signal in the PPG dataset can be identified as corresponding to the acceleration signal that mimics the heart rate, and the PPG signal can be removed to improve the accuracy of the heart rate prediction.

  • Publication number: 20210393202
Abstract: A monitoring device is disclosed having a band or sock or garment configured to be placed about a portion of a subject. The sock or garment houses a sensing module to measure health parameters of the subject. The sensing module has a sensor assembly that is optimized to detect when the device is not properly situated on the subject in order to minimize false readings and/or to improve the reliability of readings from the device.

  • Publication number: 20070246884
Abstract: A game case (20) for retaining a first card (14A) for a card type game (12) includes a case housing (22) having a first housing cover (32), a second housing cover (34), a first card tray (38) secured to the first housing cover (32), and a tray lid (44). The housing covers (32) (34) are movable relative to each other between a closed housing configuration (48) in which the case housing (22) is closed and an open housing configuration (50) in which the case housing (22) is open. The first card tray (38) is secured to the first housing cover (32). Further, the first card tray (38) is sized and shaped to receive the first card (14A). The tray lid (44) is positioned between the housing covers (32) (34).

  • Publication number: 20070045952
Abstract: An interactive game (10) for a plurality of players includes a game board (12) having a plurality of designated positions (22), a plurality of game pieces (14), a plurality of upper gameplay indicia (318U), and a plurality of lower gameplay indicia (318L). Each game piece (14) includes a game piece body (315) having an upper surface (324U), a lower surface (324L) and a wall section (326). The upper gameplay indicia (318U) are each secured to the upper surface (324U) of a corresponding game piece (14). The lower gameplay indicia (318L) are each secured to the lower surface (324L) of a corresponding game piece (14). Each game piece (14) is adapted to alternately be placed in a first position and a second position. In the first position, the wall section (326) supports the lower surface (324L) above the game board (12), the upper gameplay indicia (318U) is exposed to the players and the lower gameplay indicia (318L) is concealed from the players.
