    Abstract: A first parallel plate coalescing assembly comprising vertically oriented plates and a second parallel plate coalescing assembly comprising horizontally disposed plates are disposed in spaced alignment along a flow path defined within a separator vessel. The vertically oriented plates are positioned upstream of the horizontally positioned plates so that the mixture flows through them first.
