  • Publication number: 20230213188
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a flue gas outlet assembly including a flue gas inlet configured to connect to an exhaust outlet of a fuel burning device, a flue gas outlet, and a flue pipe condensate drain assembly including a condensate inlet, a condensate outlet, and a float valve disposed between the condensate inlet and the condensate outlet, the float valve including a bullet-shaped float, wherein the float valve is biased closed and is configured to open to permit a flow of condensate from the condensate inlet to the condensate outlet upon a sufficient amount of condensate collecting proximate the float valve.

  • Publication number: 20050247304
Abstract: A millivolt damper control device comprises a damper movable between a closed position where a flue is blocked and an open position, a thermoelectric device having an input voltage, a battery having a voltage, and a controller comprising a comparator circuit which compares the input voltage with a reference voltage based upon the voltage of the battery. When the input voltage is greater than or equal to the reference voltage, the comparator circuit transmits a damper signal to move the damper to the open position.

  • Publication number: 20050247303
Abstract: A wireless damper control device comprises a damper positioned in a flue, movable between a closed position where the flue is blocked and an open position, a damper controller which sends a damper signal which moves the damper between the open position and the closed position, and a fire side controller which transmits a fireplace signal to open a gas valve to initiate combustion when a fire is desired at a fireplace, and to close the gas valve to terminate combustion when a fire is no longer desired at the fireplace, and which receives a damper status signal from the damper controller indicating whether the damper is in the closed position or the open position.
