  • Patent number: 11441899
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a tracking system for tracking the position and/or orientation of an object in an environment, the tracking system including: at least one camera mounted to the object; a plurality of spaced apart targets, at least some of said targets viewable by the at least one camera; and, one or more electronic processing devices configured to: determine target position data indicative of the relative spatial position of the targets; receive image data indicative of an image from the at least one camera, said image including at least some of the targets; process the image data to: identify one or more targets in the image; determine pixel array coordinates corresponding to a position of the one or more targets in the image; and, use the processed image data to determine the position and/or orientation of the object by triangulation.

  • Patent number: 10722654
Abstract: An injection device (1) includes a housing (20) for receiving a cartridge (30) of medicament in use; a drive element (12), moveable from a first position to a second position to expel a dose from said cartridge, and wherein the drive element comprises an electrically-operated indicator module (40) for generating an indication corresponding to the stage of use of the device. The indicator module (40) may be contained within the drive element, for example within an interior of the drive element and may include an audible indicator such as e.g. a sounder or loudspeaker, and a visual indicator such as e.g. one or more LEDs arranged to provide e.g. colour-coded signals.

  • Patent number: 9858887
Abstract: A display arrangement for e.g. a medical substance delivery device includes a movable control member, at least one transducer responsive to movement of the control member to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy to output an electrical signal, a drive circuit for receiving the electrical signal and for outputting an output drive signal, and a display device for receiving the output drive signal and displaying a variable image that varies consequent on the relative movement. The display may be a bistable display, so that the display function is self-powered without a requirement for a battery or the like. The parameter displayed for a medical substance delivery device may be a dose volume, a count of doses delivered, progress and/or completion of a dose. The drive circuit is an absolute position encoder and detects the actual position of the control member and does not deduce the position by counting pulses.
