    Abstract: Sheet-like products are disclosed containing an additive composition that enhances various properties of the product. The additive composition, for instance, comprises an aqueous dispersion containing an alpha-olefin polymer, an ethylene-carboxylic acid copolymer, or mixtures thereof. The alpha-olefin polymer may comprise an interpolymer of ethylene and octene, while the ethylene-carboxylic acid copolymer may comprise ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer. The additive composition may also contain a dispersing agent, such as a fatty acid. In one embodiment, the sheet-like product comprises a coform web containing synthetic fibers and pulp fibers.

    Abstract: Absorbent articles are disclosed containing an odor control agent. The odor control agent, for instance, may be incorporated into an absorbent core present in the absorbent article. The absorbent article may be, for instance, a diaper, a feminine hygiene product, an adult incontinence product, a training pant, and the like. In accordance with the present disclosure, the odor control agent comprises a chemical compound having a positive charge. For instance, in one embodiment, the chemical compound comprises aluminum chlorohydrate. The odor control agent is capable of immobilizing bacteria that cause odors. By immobilizing the bacteria, the bacteria are not capable of multiplying and are therefore not capable of producing odor producing substances.
