Each of the video call, the recording, and the mark-up are recorded as an independent recording layer, while the entire lesson is also recorded. The system and method utilize recording techniques so as to not deplete the resources of the user devices. Upon conclusion of the lesson, the recording of the lesson and each layer is provided to the users.
