  • Publication number: 20230353551
Abstract: A device is described that includes a first microprocessor configured for interfacing with a digital access control backend, and a second microprocessor configured for dedicated communications with an access control manager device backend. The first microprocessor is a master device that controls the operation of the second microprocessor as a secondary device. The proposed device is configured for operation of the first microprocessor and the second microprocessor at low clock speeds and to maintain a hash segregation between locally received data sets and data sets transmitted to an external authentication system.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 11570623
Abstract: Systems, devices, methods, and computer readable media for electronically controlling a user's access to one or more controlled resources are provided. A near-field communication-based mobile credential data payload is provisioned on a mobile device capable of establishing a contactless payment transaction and a low energy proximity beacon signal is periodically broadcasted. The beacon signal and an emulated contactless payment transaction can be utilized in concert to determine that the identity is authorized to access the one or more controlled resources.

  • Publication number: 20210112064
Abstract: A system and methods for interpreting a user's movement through space as a passive behavioural biometric is described. Using patterns of user's movement through space, the system detects anomalies in user movement, provides or restricts access to a restricted space without adding extra friction to the user, and generates risk events. An adjacency matrix (i.e., footprint) is generated by analyzing a user's movement through space and creating a weighted directed graph for the user. Anomalies are detected by comparing a user's footprint against the same user's earlier footprint, or the footprints of other users within a group, or the footprints of all other uses in the system.
