  • Patent number: 12045437
Abstract: An example process includes: while displaying a user interface different from a digital assistant user interface, receiving a user input; in accordance with a determination that the user input satisfies a criterion for initiating a digital assistant: displaying, over the user interface, the digital assistant user interface, the digital assistant user interface including: a digital assistant indicator displayed at a first portion of the display; and a response affordance displayed at a second portion of the display, where: a portion of the user interface remains visible at a third portion of the display; and the third portion is between the first portion and the second portion.

  • Patent number: 9888219
Abstract: An image projection system of the type which directs at least a pair of overlapping image tiles toward a screen, with portions of each image tile in the pair directed toward an overlap region on the screen, comprising an optical mask apparatus for defining on the overlap region a transition zone between projection of one or the other of the overlapping tiles, the optical mask apparatus including first and second optical mask plates, each providing an edge profile to define a line or zone of transition, when the system projects the pair of overlapping image tiles toward the screen, by each plate blocking a portion of a different one of the two adjacent projection beams with a provided edge profile to create a transition between portions of an image formed on the overlap region with the different projection beams.

  • Patent number: 7469540
Abstract: In some embodiments, three integrated phases may be used to reduce emissions, convert thermal energy into electricity, and cool inlet combustion air. An ammonia injection system may be designed to eliminate extraneous equipment and hazardous re-circulation lines by directly vaporizing, injecting, and mixing ammonia using a specially designed nozzle. The second phase may include using a preheat/vaporizer/superheater exchanger to convert ammonia liquid into a superheated vapor that is then passed through a turbo-expander/generator to produce power. In some embodiments, the third phase may include inlet combustion air chilling.

  • Patent number: 6829906
Abstract: Apparatus for recovering vapor during de-pressuring of a vessel, and for those facilities with such a need, for recovering vapor during the liquid filling, or liquid removing, from a vessel. In de-pressuring mode, the vapor and inert gas purging the vessel are processed to recover multiple product vapors with vapor pressures from as low as 0.1 PSIG to about 100 PSIG. Higher values up to 250 PSIG are also processed economically by an optional third-stage, stand-alone system. This system produces overall product recovery rates over 99% and inert gas recovery over 99% at the latter part of the cycle as recycle gas. The system is purged after each use to prevent cross contamination. In the liquid filling mode, displaced vapor and pad gas (inert gas added to maintain pressure in tanks during liquid removing) are processed to recover multiple products and the pad gas.

  • Publication number: 20020117391
Abstract: Method and apparatus for producing high purity, food grade CO2 and recovering valuable BTEX fuel from hydrocarbon mixtures such as from a natural gas well. The method involves dehydrating the hydrocarbon mixture and separating the dehydrated mixture into gas and liquid phases, followed by further separation of the liquid phase to produce the BTEX fuel and condensation and distillation of the vapor phase to produce the high purity CO2. The BTEX fuel is recovered at the temperature and pressure that meets specifications for transportation and storage of gasoline, facilitating its sale to market, and the high purity CO2 is produced is produced as liquid CO2 for storage and transportation.

  • Patent number: 6408895
Abstract: Apparatus for controlling vapor so as to increase the rate of flow of liquid while moving from one vessel to a second vessel by replacing pumped off liquid with vapor from the liquid and then depressurize the first vessel. After the first vessel is emptied of liquid, the first vessel is depressurized by pulling the vapor out of the first vessel, condensing the vapor, and routing the condensed vapor to the second vessel. The vapor utilized for balancing the first and second vessels during movement of liquid is vapor from the head space of the second vessel or vapor obtained by vaporizing a side stream of the liquid being pumped from the first vessel to the second. The system is also adapted for assisting with the recovery of vent gas from the vent gas recovery system of the facility.
