Abstract: An AR-type rifle lower receiver comprises a lower portion having a supplemental opening or recess adjacent the rifle's trigger-guard opening for receiving the middle finger of the user's hand. In addition, a juxtaposed curved boundary surface spaced laterally and rearwardly with respect to the supplemental opening is provided to define a comfortable “grip” bearing surface for the area between the thumb and index finger of the user's hand when the user positions his/her index finger on the rifle's trigger.

A locking mechanism also is provided for controlling the position of the non-detachable magazine between the first and second positions. A child-proof lock further is provided to prevent undesired activation of the locking mechanism. Additionally, a novel locking plate disposed between the lower receiver's frame and the receiver's stock extension tube provides enhanced support for the extension tube and an accessory attachment point for a shoulder strap or sling.

Abstract: A software system may be used to define configurable products for use in a selling application module by sellers of products to define custom configuration of products to satisfy customer needs. During periodic points in time, a subset of all configuration of these configurable products may be offered for sale by sellers user special price terms and conditions. Catalogs of sale products may provide a mechanism for configuring only products that are included within sale products. A catalog manager module may assist in preparing a catalog of product data and related configuration rules associated with only products included within a particular catalog.

Each rocker arm assembly includes a first arm portion and a second arm portion oriented along an axis disposed at an acute angle to the axis of the first arm portion. Each rocker arm further includes a roller contact for engagement with the intake valve stem of the engine and an axially adjustable contact member for engagement with the engine's push rod. The axially adjustable contact member axis is disposed at a second acute angle with respect to the axis of the first arm portion.

Abstract: A grain measuring and weighing device including an entrance chamber, a constant volume chamber, and a weigh chamber. A plurality of gates controllably move between open and closed positions to allow a known volume of grain to flow between chambers. The weighing and measuring system includes a means for compensating and eliminating forces external to the grain harvester, such as the various forces due to sloping surfaces and rough terrain over which the grain harvester moves, that would otherwise adversely affect the grain yield data. In one embodiment, an accelerometer is use to measure such external forces. In another embodiment, a reference weight is used to measure the external forces.
