Publication number: 20140249394Abstract: A health monitoring and diagnostic device (LIFESTREAM cholesterol meter) configured as a self-contained testing and diagnostic unit in a clam-shell type case. One side of the case includes a spring-loaded finger stick and a compartment for carrying one or more packages of disposable items including a test strip, a needle for the finger stick, and an alcohol swipe. The other half of the case includes a test strip reader, a key pad, and a liquid crystal display. The meter reads a test strip carrying a droplet of blood and receives additional diagnostic information from the patient, such as age, gender, weight, and family history of heart disease. Within minutes, the meter displays test results, including total cholesterol levels. The meter also displays additional diagnostic results, such as the patient's “cardiac age,” recommended weight loss, and a cardiac risk assessment. The meter also works in connection with a network-based comprehensive health analysis and reporting system.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2014Publication date: September 4, 2014Applicant: LifeNexus, Inc.Inventors: Christopher T. Maus, Craig A. Coad, Jackson B. Connolly, Noah M. Coad, James L. Moody, Kenn A. Nesbitt, Kenneth D. Clegg

Publication number: 20130041691Abstract: Comprehensive health analysis and reporting system that writes patient data, including patient identification information, test results, diagnostic information, and diagnostic results to various storage systems. The computer station establishes a network connection with a health report server, downloads patient data to the health report server which prepares a comprehensive report, and the report is transmitted back to the computer station where it may be distributed to the patient.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 22, 2012Publication date: February 14, 2013Applicant: Polymer Technology Systems, Inc.Inventors: Christopher T. Maus, Craig A. Coad, Jackson B. Connolly, Noah M. Coad, James L. Moody, Kenn A. Nesbitt, Kenneth D. Clegg

Publication number: 20130020385Abstract: A secure, electronic data maintenance system and associated removable memory storage devices (e.g., smartcards). The system includes a first remote server that stores card holder identification information associated with multiple card holders, and a second remote server that stores electronic data associated with the card holders. The electronic data maintained on the second remote server cannot be correlated to the card holder identification information maintained on the first remote server based on the information contained in the first and second remote servers. To permit correlation of the files, the removable memory storage devices store correlation information sufficient to uniquely associate particular card holder identification information stored on the first remote computer server with associated card holder's electronic data stored on the second remote server. The removable memory storage device also allows the card holder to engage in monetary transactions.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 23, 2012Publication date: January 24, 2013Applicant: LIFENEXUS, INC.Inventors: Christopher T. Maus, Craig A. Coad, Jackson B. Connolly, Noah M. Coad, James L. Moody, Kenn A. Nesbitt, Kenneth D. Clegg

Patent number: 7424437Abstract: A secure medical records maintenance system and associated removable memory storage device referred to as a “personal health card” for accessing the system. The secure medical records maintenance system includes a first remote server that stores patient identification information associated with multiple patents, and a second remote server that stores patient medical data associated with the multiple patents. The medical data maintained on the second remote server cannot be correlated to the associated patient identification information maintained on the first remote server based on the information contained in the first and second remote servers. To permit correlation of the files, the personal health card stores correlation information sufficient to uniquely associate a patient's patient identification information stored on the first remote computer server with that patient's medical data stored on the second remote server.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2003Date of Patent: September 9, 2008Assignee: Lifenexus, Inc.Inventors: Christopher T. Patent number: 7092891Abstract: A secure medical records maintenance system including a first server that stores patient identification information indexed by patient identification numbers (PINs) and a second server that stores patient medical data indexed by medical record identification numbers. For security purposes, the medical data maintained in the second remote server cannot be correlated to the associated patient identification information maintained in the first server based on the information contained in the servers. A correlation table uniquely associating each medical record identification number with a particular one of the patient identification numbers is used to allow correlation of the databases. The correlation table for a particular patient typically resides on a patient's removable memory storage device (smartcard).Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2003Date of Patent: August 15, 2006Assignee: Lifestream Technologies Inc.Inventors: Christopher T. Patent number: 5991965Abstract: An apparatus for dry-leaning dust-contaminated auxiliary objects for handling and storing semiconductor wafers is disclosed and comprises a housing having a receiving opening and a closable lid for closing the opening. The housing further includes a receiving space for receiving an auxiliary object and a collecting space spatially separated therefrom, gas inlet nozzles having corresponding gas outlet openings in the receiving space for injecting a cleaning gas into the receiving space, and a gas draw-off opening in the collecting space for receiving the injected cleaning gas flowing from the receiving space to the collecting space. As the injected cleaning gas flows over the auxiliary object from the receiving space to the collecting space, the dust particles are removed from the auxiliary object by the flow of injected cleaning gas over the auxiliary object and delivered to said gas draw-off opening for disposal.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 1997Date of Patent: November 30, 1999Assignee: Micronas Intermetall GmbHInventors: Ruediger Joachim Stroh, Bozenka Schweinoch, Martin Trefzer, Uwe Thomas, Erich Allmann, Craig Coad

Patent number: 5525960Abstract: A system for monitoring the steady state condition of a motor vehicle shock absorber is used to identify conditions in which a tire may be under- or over-inflated, or in which a shock absorber needs adjustment or replacing. A device for measuring distance, such as a measuring tape, is affixed along the length of a movable portion of a shock absorber, and is monitored by a shock absorber sensor, which is mounted in a fixed position relative to the measuring device. The vertical distance through which the movable portion of the shock absorber moves and the velocity of the oscillations of said movable portion is thereby monitored, and data is transmitted from the sensor to a circuit for transforming said data into a visual display for visual monitoring by the vehicle driver. Said data is further sent through a comparator circuit for comparing to other data received simultaneously from at least one other sensor similarly mounted in relation to another shock absorber of the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 1993Date of Patent: June 11, 1996Inventors: Richard E. McCall, Craig A. Coad, Larry L. Uland

Patent number: 5408221Abstract: An improved downed water skier warning system for alerting the operator of a skier tow-boat and the operators of nearby boats when a skier falls into the water or releases the skier towrope. The system includes electronic water sensors for sensing when the rope-handle of the skier tow-rope lands in the water, and pressure sensors for sensing when the water skier releases the rope handle. The water and pressure sensors are in remote communication with audible and visual tow-boat operator alarms and visual "skier-down" warning indicators, for enabling said alarms and indicators when a "downed skier" situation occurs. The improved warning system is designed for use in conjunction with marine warning devices and indicators commonly available, such as the "skier-down" flag and bow or stem directional lights.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 1993Date of Patent: April 18, 1995Assignee: Inventech, Inc.Inventors: Ronald F. Carsella, Sr., Craig A. Coad
