Patent number: 12289321Abstract: Methods, systems, and media are shown for creating and deploying honey tokens for intrusion detection in a remote computing resource system. Resource modules provisioned for a tenant are identified for intrusion detection. For each identified resource modules, a provisioned resource having a corresponding access credential is allocated and the access credential is deployed in the identified resource module. A data entry is created in a token mapping store that identifies the access credential and the resource module. Access logs are scanned to detect access attempts. For each access attempt, the token mapping store is searched for a data entry with an access credential that matches the access credential of the access attempt. If found, an alert is generated that includes the identified resource module of the matching data entry.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2019Date of Patent: April 29, 2025Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Hani Hana Neuvirth, Tomer Weinberger, Yaniv Zohar, Craig A. Patent number: 9122622Abstract: In one embodiment, a controller system comprises a plurality of remote interface modules and a control module. Each remote interface module is configured to be coupled to a corresponding controlled system for receiving first input signals therefrom, providing first output signals thereto, and generating first data signals based on the first input signals. The control module is coupled to the remote interface modules to receive the first data signals from the remote interface modules, and provide second data signals to the remote interface modules. The control module is configured to receive second input signals from a host computer and to provide second output signals to the host computer. The control module is configurable to selectively generate the second data signals and the second output signals based on the first data signals, the second input signals, and configuration equations.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2014Date of Patent: September 1, 2015Assignee: Digital Dynamics, Inc.Inventors: Craig A. Patent number: 8972037Abstract: A system and method for monitoring product through a batch manufacturing plant is provided. The system includes, a parallel flow mode when product flows concurrently from at least two units to a single unit; and a serial flow mode where product flows from one unit to another at a given time, wherein the batch manufacturing plant is modeled based on the parallel and serial flow modes. A lot association is built based on product flow and a parent/child record is created for lot association. The system also includes a data collection system that collects phase information for every unit and a procedure identifier is used to create a batch identifier, where a batch identifier is associated with each lot on each unit through which product is flowing to and/or from at a given time.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2012Date of Patent: March 3, 2015Assignee: Vigilistics, Inc.Inventors: Charles J Scalfani, Donald L Gaudino, Craig A Nelson, Steven C McCormick, Therese M Sonnenfeld, Todd A Soutar

Patent number: 6928108Abstract: Updated operating code and parameters can be reprogrammed into a modem system with no disassembly of the modem hardware. The modem system includes a memory chip in which operating code and parameters are stored. Two control programs control the reprogramming of updated operating code. One of the control programs is designed for manufacturing and testing purposes. The other control program allows remote reprogramming of updated operating code or parameters from a remote location such as a customer site. A user can thus remotely upgrade system firmware with updates, bug fixes, enhancements or other new releases of system operating code by downloading the update over a phone line to a host PC and reprogramming the memory chip of the modem over the serial port from the host PC. The user can also remotely upgrade the modem system firmware by directly programming the memory chip of the modem without the assistance of the host PC. The modem system is portable, obtaining power from a standard 9 volt battery.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2001Date of Patent: August 9, 2005Assignee: Multi-Tech Systems, Inc.Inventors: Craig A. Patent number: 5928362Abstract: Authentication mechanism for interactive home entertainment systems using plug-in cards which do contain software as well as cards which do not contain software. A security bit stream is generated by circuitry on the card and checked by the base system while the system is operating, but only a single signal line of the interface is used for the bit stream. The card also includes a ROM which contains data to be downloaded to the base system. The ROM data is downloaded to the base system via the same signal line of the interface as the serial bit stream. The signal line is used for ROM data download while the base system asserts a "reset" signal, and is used to carry the serial bit stream for authentication purposes whenever the reset signal is negated.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 1997Date of Patent: July 27, 1999Assignee: CagEnt Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Louis A. Patent number: 5809006Abstract: Copy-protected optical disk format, optical disk recording apparatus for creating disks having such formats and optical disk reading apparatus for reading disks having such formats and for determining whether the disks are authentic. In one aspect, an authentic optical disk has data bit indications along a spiral centerline of the disk, and these data bit indications define a radial wobble which has substantially greater energy at a predefined frequency f.sub.CPW (such as f.sub.CC /392) than at a frequency of f.sub.CC /196, where f.sub.CC is the spatial channel clock frequency. In another aspect, an authorized optical disk has data bit indications along a substantially spiral centerline of the disk, according to a channel clock whose frequency varies across the disk. The disk further has stored thereon an indication of the number of such channel clock cycles which occur along a predetermined test segment of the centerline, optionally together with a pointer to the test segment.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 1996Date of Patent: September 15, 1998Assignee: Cagent Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Hedley C. Patent number: 5293693Abstract: A method for determining the size of the open area of a vacuum valve for use in a die casting operation is disclosed. The invention determines the size primarily as a function of the total length of the exterior parting lines of the die. Apparatus for producing die castings is disclosed which has a vacuum valve with a specified open flow area.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 1992Date of Patent: March 15, 1994Assignee: Outboard Marine CorporationInventors: Craig A.
