  • Patent number: 11179610
Abstract: A golf club head comprises a body having a face, a crown and a sole together defining an interior cavity. The body having a channel located on the sole and extending generally from a heel end of the body to a toe end of the body. A weight member movably positioned within the channel such that a position of the weight member within the channel is able to be adjusted, thereby adjusting a location of a center of gravity of the body. Additionally, adjustment of the weight member provides a maximum x-axis adjustment range of the position of the center of gravity (Max ?CGx) that is greater than 2 mm and a maximum z-axis adjustment range of the center of gravity (Max ?CGz) that is less than 2 mm.

  • Publication number: 20210309466
Abstract: A system for automatically handling components to be assembled onto a product on an assembly line includes a carriage that is movable to and between a first, retracted position spaced from the assembly line, and a second position displaced from the retracted position in a direction toward the assembly line. A manipulator on the carriage supports a component mounting tool configured to receive and support at least one component for assembly to the product. The manipulator may be arranged in a first orientation when the carriage is in the first position, and may be pivoted to a second orientation when the carriage is in the second position, such that a component on the component mounting tool is supported in a pose for processing when the carriage is in the first position, and is supported in a pose for joining to the product when the carriage is in the second position.

  • Publication number: 20210146203
Abstract: A golf club head and golf club having a large volume, large head dimensions, and/or large face characteristics, as well as unique mass property attributes driven by relationships not often considered in conventional club head design, to achieve a resistance to squaring the club head during a golf swing that is comfortable to the novice golfer, stability during off-center impacts, and preferred launch characteristics. This is achieved in part via establishing a club head configuration and associated center of gravity location that results in a preferred magnitude of Delta1 and Delta2 values, CG angle, moments of inertia, and associated ratios, relationships, and club head mass property characteristics influenced by these variables, to account for the scale of the club head and achieve improved performance.

  • Patent number: 10902612
Abstract: A launch monitor having a camera can be used to measure a trajectory parameter of a ball. In one example, a method can include changing a mode of the camera from a low-speed mode to a high-speed mode. The camera can include an image sensor array having a plurality of pixels. The camera can generate a video frame using more pixels in the low-speed mode than in the high-speed mode. A first video frame can be received, the video frame comprising values captured during the high-speed mode from a first subset of the plurality of pixels. A second video frame can be received, the video frame comprising values captured during the high-speed mode from a second subset of the plurality of pixels. The trajectory parameter of the ball can be calculated using the first video frame and the second video frame.

  • Patent number: 10888746
Abstract: An oversized golf club head and golf club having a large volume, large head dimensions, and/or large face characteristics, as well as unique mass property attributes driven by relationships not often considered in conforming club head design, to achieve a resistance to squaring the oversized club head during a golf swing that is comfortable to the novice golfer, a feel similar to a non-oversized golf club, stability during off-center impacts, and preferred launch characteristics. This is achieved in part via establishing a club head configuration and associated center of gravity location that results in a preferred magnitude of Delta1 and Delta2 values, CG angle, moments of inertia, and associated ratios, relationships, and club head mass property characteristics influenced by these variables, to account for the significant scale of the oversized club head and achieve improved performance.

  • Publication number: 20200410725
Abstract: A system for evaluation of an augmented reality (AR) experience provided to a user includes a backdrop, a physical light configured to project light onto the backdrop, and a display system configured to display a virtual feature. A controller is communicatively coupled to the display system and the physical light. The controller is configured to render the virtual feature, receive feedback indicative of an operational parameter of the physical light, and receive additional feedback indicative of a state of a virtual light, where the state of the virtual light defines an appearance of the virtual feature. The controller is configured to adjust the appearance of the virtual feature to an updated appearance based on the feedback indicative of the operational parameter of the physical light, adjust the operational parameter of the physical light based on the additional feedback indicative of the state of the virtual light, or both.

  • Patent number: 10875087
Abstract: Provided herein is a system, apparatus, and method for aligning a continuous casting mold and a starter block. The continuous casting mold alignment system may include: a continuous casting mold; a mold frame supporting the continuous casting mold; a starter block; and at least one bearing assembly. The at least one bearing assembly is movable between a lowered position and a raised position, where the at least one bearing assembly, in the raised position, engages and supports one of the continuous casting mold or the starter block. The at least one bearing assembly, in the raised position, enables the one of the continuous casting mold or the starter block to be moved into alignment with the other of the continuous casting mold or the starter block by a force below a predefined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20200396981
Abstract: An animal trap includes: a bait, a support, and an elastic band, wherein in a set state the support supports the elastic band in an expanded state, and wherein removal, consumption or destruction of the bait by an animal: causes the elastic band to contract around the animal to kill the animal; or causes the elastic band to drive a kill mechanism to kill the animal. Animal traps may be formed substantially or entirely of biodegradable materials. Animal traps may be adapted for aerial distribution. A trap dispenser may dispense traps as they are triggered.
