  • Patent number: 11950177
Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which an blocking delivery service is provided. The service may use an identifier of a source end device, destination address information associated with a destination end device, and configurable criteria as a basis to block delivery of application service layer data. The service may be configured to apply to end devices based on an addressing scheme of the service. The service may be configured on a network device that provides an application service. The service may block delivery without the use of class of service or subscriber provisioning.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 10660067
Abstract: A system described herein may provide a mechanism for efficiently delivering messages to a User Equipment (“UE”) associated with a wireless telecommunications network, such as a UE that is frequently in an inactive state. A message for the UE may be received and buffered. Once the network determines that the UE has transitioned from the inactive state to the active state (e.g., as detected by a Mobility Management Entity (“MME”) or an Access and Mobility Management Function (“AMF”)), the buffered message may be provided to the UE using control plane signaling.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 28, 2018
Date of Patent: May 19, 2020

  • Patent number: 10194000
Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium provide for receiving registration information during a registration with a network, wherein the registration information includes a user identifier of a user registering with another network device of the network and an identifier of the other network device; determining whether registration information pertaining to a previous registration by the user with the network is stored; determining that the registration information pertaining to the previous registration is not stored; storing the received registration information based on determining that the registration information pertaining to the previous registration is not stored; selecting which application server of the network to transmit the received registration information; transmitting the received registration information to the application server based on the selecting; and using the received registration information to provide a service by the application server.
