  • Publication number: 20170180838
Abstract: A portable speaker and protective cover for a portable wireless speaker and speaker system is disclosed. The protective cover is configured to receive, retain, cover, protect, and interactively support the portable wireless speaker. A plurality of embedded magnets and/or metallic elements in the speaker and cover are configured and aligned to magnetically secure the protective cover around the portable wireless speaker in the fully closed position and facilitate secure positioning of the speaker in a stand position during use. Other audio, video and computing electronics including tablet and smart phones may also be similarly protected and supported by such a cover configured to the particular dimensions of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20160359512
Abstract: A battery powered, portable multi-channel audio mixing console is disclosed. The mixing console is configured to be easily held in a user's hand like a remote control. The console is configured to wirelessly receive, via separate channels, two or more independent stereo input audio signals from separate audio sources such as cellular phones, iPads, iPods, or other computing or media player devices, independently equalize the frequencies of those input signals, independently adjust the volume of those input signals, and then mix those audio signals into a combined output signal. The console further includes user controls that can vary the relative magnitude of the first and second input signals in the combined output signal. The console is further adapted to transmit the combined output signal to one or more speakers via independent channels.

  • Publication number: 20160198247
Abstract: A wireless audio speaker system that includes a speaker main unit and multiple functions provided by exchangeable accessories is disclosed. The speaker main unit includes a top sleeve and a bottom sleeve that covers the external surface of a more internal enclosure that houses the main unit electronics and circuitry. External electrical and mechanical connectors are configured to be positioned on speaker unit and are adapted to being connected to the accessories. One external connector is positioned on the top sleeve for passing power and audio signals between the speaker main unit and an accessory component that is mounted to the top sleeve. A second connector is configured to be positioned on the bottom sleeve for passing audio signals between the speaker main unit and a second speaker that is stacked to the bottom sleeve via stacking plate. Multiple exchangeable accessory components are described to seamlessly supplement functionality and enhance user experience.

  • Patent number: 5718459
Abstract: The present invention is a high pressure quick connector especially for use in connecting brake lines of a vehicle. The connector includes a housing which selectively receives a tube retainer cap. Retaining means such as a garter spring or snap ring allow for a low force insertion of the cap into the housing with an very high pull-off force. The cap is used to trap a tube with a bead upset, and the tube may be removed after the cap is unlocked. A second way of releasing the tube includes the use of a tube retainer plug selectively received in the cap, the upset trapped between the plug and cap. The plug can be removed while the cap is still locked in the housing, releasing the tube. A release tool may be used to unlock the cap from the housing. An insertion indicator ring is used to establish the locking of the cap within the housing. A dust boot prevents contaminants from interfering with the operation of the connector.

  • Patent number: 5609370
Abstract: A quick connector includes a retainer for detachably engaging male and female components of the quick connector together. The retainer includes an annular base with a recess mountable over a radially enlarged flange on the male component and circumferentially spaced legs extending axially from the base. An aperture in each leg engages a projection on the female component to interconnect the male and female components together. First and second seal members, each having the same inner diameter, but different outer diameters are pre-mounted on the male component and simultaneously engage different diameter portions of a stepped bore in the female component upon insertion of the male component into the female component.

  • Patent number: 5566720
Abstract: An elongated fuel and vapor tube suitable for conveying fluids containing hydrocarbons having a first layer disposed radially innermost and having an inner surface capable of prolonged exposure to the hydrocarbon-containing fluid made up of a melt processible fluoroplastic terpolymer composed of a polyfluorinated alkylene, an .alpha.-fluoro-olefin and a fluorinated vinyl compound and a second layer bonded directly to the outwardly oriented face of the first layer. The second layer is composed of a resinous thermoplastic material which is preferably a polyamide such as Nylon 12, Nylon 11, Nylon 6 or Nylon 6.6.
