  • Publication number: 20250116676
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of predicting basal-like breast cancer recurrence in a patient comprising (a) determining the phosphorylation status of at least one protein in a biological sample obtained from the patient; (b) identifying the patient as having a high risk of basal-like breast cancer recurrence if the phosphorylation status of the at least one protein is over-phosphorylated or under-phosphorylated as compared to a control; and (c) optionally administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a chemotherapeutic if the patient is classified as having a high risk of basal-like breast cancer recurrence. Also disclosed herein are methods of treating a patient wherein the patient has been identified as having a high risk of basal-like breast cancer recurrence and kits for use in predicting basal-like breast cancer recurrence and/or prognosing basal-like breast cancer.

  • Publication number: 20240402177
Abstract: The present invention relates to protein markers for luminal A (LA)-like and luminal B1 (LB 1)-like breast cancer. Methods for differentiating LA-like and LB 1-like breast cancer in a ER-positive breast cancer subject are provided, such methods including the detection of levels of a variety of biomarkers for LA-like and LB 1-like breast cancer. Compositions in the form of kits and panels of reagents for detecting the biomarkers of the invention are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240230651
Abstract: Methods for prognosing the risk of progression in a ER-positive breast cancer (e.g., luminal B 1 breast cancer) subject are provided, such methods including the detection of levels of a variety of biomarkers prognostic of progression. Compositions in the form of kits and panels of reagents for detecting the biomarkers of the invention are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230059578
Abstract: The present invention relates to protein markers for ER-positive-like and ER-negative-like breast cancer. Methods for differentiating ER-positive-like and ER-negative-like breast cancer in a subject having breast cancer are provided, such methods including the detection of levels of a variety of biomarkers for ER-positive-like and ER-negative-like breast cancer. Compositions in the form of kits and panels of reagents for detecting the biomarkers of the invention are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20210381057
Abstract: The present disclosure provides gene expression profiles that are associated with cancer, including certain gene expression profiles that differentiate between cancer that is at a high risk of recurrence. The gene expression profiles can be measured at the nucleic acid or protein level. The gene expression profiles can also be used to identify a subject for cancer treatment. Also provided are kits for use in predicting cancer recurrence and/or prognosing cancer and an array comprising probes for detecting the unique gene expression profiles associated with cancer.
