Abstract: In certain embodiments, the present invention provides a protective sterile drape for a Mayo surgical tray stand that has a self-disposing feature, the ability at the end of a surgical procedure to draw the drape around the disposable instrument tray, disposable instruments and disposable surgical waste and secure the drape and its contents with a provided closure device to produce a closed container suitable for disposal. In preferred embodiments, the drape further includes a disposable instrument tray, consumable supplies and disposable instruments that are selected for a specific procedure.
