  • Patent number: 6350079
Abstract: A quick coupler assembly connects an implement to a work machine. The coupler assembly includes a cylindrical catcher rotatably mounted between a pair of plates. During coupling of the implement with the coupler assembly, the catcher is rotated at a cam surface by an implement coupling pin which allows a latch member mounted to the pair of plates to slidingly engage automatically with the catcher for locking the catcher in a closed position. The closed position of the catcher locates a jaw thereof in a position which retains the implement coupling pin within a receiving notch of the catcher thereby coupling the implement to the work machine. The ability to couple an implement to a work machine with ease and simplicity in conjunction with the utilization of durable components, increases usability and reliability while reducing costs.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: February 26, 2002
    Assignee: Caterpillar S.A.R.L.

  • Patent number: 5996945
Abstract: The present invention includes the utilization of support blocks with angular surfaces which define semi-circular notches therein so that when assembled the semi-circular notches are aligned to form substantially circular regions for supporting a plurality of hoses individually in an offset and spaced relationship from one another. The ability to utilize support blocks which are designed in such a manner provides a space efficient manner for holding the individual hoses, while simultaneously, protecting the hoses from damage.

  • Patent number: 5925329
Abstract: The invention relates to zeolites which have high substitution levels of element with regard to aluminium content and in particular such zeolites where the substitute to silicon ratio is also high. A method for producing such zeolites by presenting the substitute material in tetrahedral oxo-anion form is also provided.
