  • Publication number: 20210322278
Abstract: A flow controllable and variable stream physiological dispenser for nursing and related bottle, including a nursing bottle, or a sports container, having a cap holding a nursing bottle nipple, or a spout, upon its upper end, the bottle or container may have a singular or double venting structure provided therein, so as to prevent aeration of its contents and eliminate the need for sucking pressure to attain fluid flow from the container. The nipple or spout has various slits, of varying lengths, in order to regulate the quantity of flow of liquid from the bottle, and which nipple may be reinforced through internally formed ribs.

  • Publication number: 20200206399
Abstract: The combination of a breast pump shield, with its ring, applied to the flange lower end of the shield, and the ring being C shaped in cross-section, having an upper flange, a lower flange, both integrally structured with a base wall. The physiological stimulator integrally formed with the lower flange of the sealing ring extends inwardly and upwardly within the shield, and therein functions as a means to place pressure upon the breast of the mother to help induce and stimulate the flow of breast milk during usage of the associated breast pump.

  • Publication number: 20190210775
Abstract: A universal single piece venting insert for a container, the insert, when applied, holding a vent tube in position within the container, and extending in proximity with its interior bottom, the vent insert forming a cylindrical member, having an integral flange, the cylindrical member extends through the lid of the container, and the flange is otherwise adhered or held contiguously against the exterior of the lid, to function as a support for the venting structure. The interior of the venting insert, and more specifically its cylindrical member, has a series of communicating channels, a first tapered channel extending upwardly from its bottom, a second flaring portion extending further upwardly within the member, and the remainder being a cylinder forming the vent reservoir, where liquid may accumulate when the container is inverted during consumption of its fluids.

  • Publication number: 20170007504
Abstract: A vent prevents a vacuum from forming within an inverted container of liquid when the liquid is dispensed. The vent is a singular vent, formed of a vent tube, the vent tube removably secures with a nipple, and more particularly its radially extending flange, with the nipple flange having a passage therethrough to allow for venting by way of the vent tube from the interior of the container to the location between the container neck and its collar, to provide for the entrance of atmospheric air into the interior of the container during usage to prevent the generation of any vacuum therein. The container may be a nursing bottle, with its collar and nipple applied to the top, and the vent tube being secured to the bottom of the nipple flange for projecting downwardly within the bottle to perform its venting function.

  • Publication number: 20160296422
Abstract: A vent prevents a vacuum from forming within an inverted container of liquid when the liquid is dispensed. The vent is a double vent, formed of a vent tube, upon which a reservoir and its integral vent tube locate, the reservoir securing with the vent tube that extends through the reservoir upper surface, to achieve the double venting of the interior of the container. The container is a nursing bottle, with a collar and nipple applied to the top, and the vent tube being integrally formed extending downwardly from the collar, and securing the reservoir and its integral tube thereon, when assembled for usage. The bottle may be formed of a transparent material, tinted to one coloration, while the reservoir and its reservoir tube may be tinted to a different coloration, which when they are assembled, exhibits a third coloration for the reservoir tube when viewed from exteriorly of the tinted nursing bottle during its application.

  • Publication number: 20160046421
Abstract: A sectionalized fluids container formed of one or more segments, threadedly engaged together, with a bottom closure secured to the bottom of the container, to seal it, and a top upper closure or cap securing with the top most segment, to form the fluids container. A double venting arrangement may be provided within the container, and allows for the entrance of ambient air when the container is inverted, during drinking, to prevent the formation of any vacuum therein. A drinking spout may be applied to the cap of the container, to facilitate its usage.

  • Publication number: 20160039583
Abstract: A vent prevents a vacuum within an inverted container of liquid and eliminates components found in other container vents. The vent utilizes a conical or other shaped venting tube extending from the closure or a reservoir with reservoir extension and an air conduit extending inferiorly from a closure. The closure is either a leak resistant or leak proof seal. The superior aspect of the reservoir contains an inferiorly projecting air conduit, opening at the volumetric center of the reservoir. The reservoir extension projects distally into the container to reach the inferior aspect of the container. The vent provides an airway between the outside and the interior of the container so air freely passes to the distal aspect of the container without contaminating the liquid. Any liquid within the reservoir extension then collects in the reservoir during inversion of the container and then returns to the container when upright.

  • Publication number: 20150290089
Abstract: The present disclosure is a pacifier having a non-collapsible aperture within the nipple lengthwise and a vertical aperture crosswise. The pacifier has a superiorly arched nipple upon a guard and opposite the nipple, a tab for grasping. The horizontal aperture extends from the tip of the nipple and through the guard. The horizontal aperture allows the passage of air into and out of the pacifier as an infant breathes and has a rib extending lengthwise that prevents collapse of the aperture. However, as infants salivate when suckling on a pacifier, the vertical aperture permits drainage of saliva, that enters the horizontal aperture, back into the mouth of an infant. The guard has a generally oval shape. Alternatively, the nipple deviates superiorly and close to the proximal end, has recesses for teeth or gums, and a hole in the tab for a strap or keeper.

  • Patent number: 8757406
Abstract: A nursing bottle (1) formed of a large volume container, incorporating a vent tube (3) that extends inwardly of the container, having a vent port (4) arranged approximately at the volumetric midpoint (12) of the container, so as to allow for venting of pressure, whether of excessive or vacuum, to the atmosphere, at all times. The volumetric capacity of the nursing bottle container may be formed of a spherical shape (1), hemispherical shape (40), cylindrical shape (18), or to other configurations that provide for the internal volumetric capacity so that any formula placed therein will be prevented from blocking the vent port (4), the vent tube (3), regardless of the angular disposition undertaken by the nursing bottle during usage.

  • Patent number: 8579130
Abstract: A nursing bottle formed of a large volume container, incorporating a vent tube that extends to vent pressure at all times. The nursing bottle may have a cylindrical shape or other configuration that prevents formula placed therein from blocking the vent tube regardless of its angular disposition. The vent tube extends distally from the vent insert, operatively associated with a collar, that holds the vent structures and the nipple to the wide rimmed opening. In addition, the vent tube has a conical shape of decreasing diameter distally toward the center of the bottom to dissipate the pressure that may cause leakage from the bottle. Further, the vent insert has a major and minor seal that prevents leaks out of the collar and onto an infant.

  • Patent number: 8479934
Abstract: A nursing bottle formed of a container, incorporates a reservoir and venting tube that eliminates vacuum. The nursing bottle has a cylindrical shape or other configuration that prevents formula therein from blocking the venting tube when held at any angle. The venting tube extends distally from the insert and alternatively may be in separate pieces. The insert has a flange on its perimeter, extending inferiorly and securing the insert to the superior and lateral aspects of the neck of the container. The vent opens at the volumetric center of the reservoir above the conically shaped venting tube depending from the reservoir, where the venting tube has a conical shape of decreasing diameter.
