Patent number: 9520657Abstract: An electrical connector is provided as a one-piece, unitary element for providing electrical connection between an electrical cable and an electrical component. The electrical connector has a substantially planar body with a planar first surface and a planar second surface and a central aperture with a dimension to receive a fastener. At least one frustoconical shaped projection extends from the body for contacting and penetrating into an electrical component. A cable terminal is integrally formed with the body and extends radially outward for coupling directly to an electrical cable and provides an electrical connection between the electrical cable and the body. The projection has an axial passage and forms an annular contact surface for mating with the electrical component. The projection can surround the central aperture of the body or can be a plurality of projections spaced outwardly from and uniformly spaced around the central aperture.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2014Date of Patent: December 13, 2016Assignee: Hubbell IncorporatedInventor: Craig E. Patent number: 8025508Abstract: An electrical connector including a first section adapted to receive a first electrical conductor; a second section, and a rotatable connection between the first and second section. The second section has a channel adapted to receive a portion of a frame of a solar panel. The second section is adapted to spring clip onto the solar panel frame and make an electrical connection therewith. The rotatable connection is adapted to rotate the first section relative to the second section to orient the first electrical conductor at a desired orientation relative to the solar panel.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2010Date of Patent: September 27, 2011Assignee: Hubbell IncorporatedInventors: Justin L. Parker, Michael Rzasa, Craig E. Lawson

Patent number: 7955101Abstract: An electrical connector including a first connection section adapted to connect the electrical connector to a first conductor; and a second connection section connected to the first connection section. The second connection section includes a lug having a hole configured to be located onto a mounting post. The second connection section has a substantially straight shape with the electrical connector having a first predetermined product safety certification. The second connection section includes a recess on a top side forming a weakened line across the second connection section for bending the second connection section at the weakened line from the substantially straight shape to a bent shape forming a modified electrical connector having a second different predetermined product safety certification.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2008Date of Patent: June 7, 2011Assignee: Hubbell IncorporatedInventors: Craig E. Lawson, Normand L. Castonguay

Patent number: 6818001Abstract: The intralumenal material removal system includes a cutter assembly positionable in the lumen of a mammalian subject and operably connected to system controls. The cutter assembly is axially advanceable by translating the drive shaft and rotatable by rotating the drive shaft. One cutter assembly comprises an adjustable cutter that is adjustable between a smaller diameter condition and a larger diameter condition by rotation of the drive shaft in opposite directions. The cutter may thus be introduced to and withdrawn from the material removal site in a retracted, smaller diameter condition that facilitates translation and navigation of the device through various lumens. The adjustable cutting assembly may be selectively expanded at the material removal site to facilitate cutting, removal and aspiration of the occlusive material. One composite cutter assembly comprises both a distal, fixed diameter cutter and a proximal adjustable diameter cutter.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2001Date of Patent: November 16, 2004Assignee: Pathway Medical Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Edward I. Wulfman, Thomas J. Clement, Craig E. Lawson, David C. Auth
