  • Patent number: 12214234
Abstract: A fire suppression sprinkler adapted to receive arcuate surfaces of a grooved coupling is retainable to the coupling in a pre-assembled state. The coupling joins the sprinkler in facing axial end-to-end relation directly to grooved pipe. The sprinkler has a monolithic body which defines a bore having an inlet and an outlet. A groove, positioned between the inlet and the outlet extends around the body. A gap between the inlet and the grooved pipe to ensure the sprinkler and the pipe are joined by the coupling spaced apart in facing end-to-end relationship.

  • Publication number: 20250018236
Abstract: A bracket uses a base and a locking body to attach an element to a structure. The base is attachable to the structure and defines an aperture for receiving the element. The locking body defines an opening adapted to receive the element. The locking body defines an engagement surface positioned within the opening. The engagement surface is adapted to secure the element to the base through mechanical engagement. The locking body is movable between a first position wherein the opening is not aligned with the aperture, and a second position wherein the opening aligns with the aperture. The engagement surface is engagable with the element when the locking body is in the second position.

  • Publication number: 20240238632
Abstract: A sprinkler includes an axially extending, generally tubular sprinkler frame having an inlet located at a proximal end and extending toward a distal end. A plurality of pins are anchored to the sprinkler frame and extending distally. A fluid deflector is oriented in a first position in a non-operative configuration of the sprinkler and distally slidable along the pins into a second position in an operative configuration of the sprinkler. A thermal trigger is supported by the sprinkler frame in the non-operative configuration of the sprinkler at an axial position distal to the deflector. The sprinkler frame is configured to mount to a fire protection piping network.

  • Patent number: 10471288
Abstract: A combination fire suppression sprinkler and coupling is provided in a pre-assembled state for rapid installation into a piping network. Coupling segments are pivotably hinged and an adjustable attachment assembly opposite the hinge secures the segments to one another. In the pre-assembled state the segments are held at a separation angle sufficient to permit insertion of a pipe element into the coupling without disassembling the coupling.

  • Patent number: 9958095
Abstract: A mechanical coupling for joining pipe elements end to end has a channel that receives a ring seal. The channel is defined by oppositely disposed sidewalls and the ring seal has lobes on opposite sides. The lobes have surfaces facing the side surfaces of the channel. When the ring seal is seated within the channel, each lobe surface contacts a respective side surface such that the lobes deform inwardly toward the center of the channel.
