  • Publication number: 20150018760
Abstract: A nasal irrigation system for rinsing nasal and sinus passages or cavities includes a solution preparation unit and a dispensing container. The solution preparation unit includes a first water reservoir, a filter that is in fluid communication with an outlet of the first water reservoir and filters water passing therethrough, a second water reservoir that is in fluid communication with the filter, and a heating element that brings filtered water in the second water reservoir to a boil to clean the filtered water, and a filler port. The dispensing container receives a nasal rinse solution from the solution preparation unit, via the filler port, and administers the nasal rinse solution to a user via a direct nostril interface. The solution preparation unit can also include a cooling element, additive reservoirs for materials to calibrate salinity or to provide a pH buffer, and a control circuit to control operation thereof.

  • Patent number: 7955875
Abstract: Methods of forming a light emitting device include selectively forming a wavelength conversion structure on a light emitting element using stereolithography. Selectively forming the wavelength conversion structure may include covering the light emitting element with a photo-curable liquid polymer containing a luminescent material, and exposing the liquid polymer to light for a time sufficient to at least partially cure the liquid polymer. Multiple layers of polymer can be selectively built up to form a wavelength conversion structure having a custom shape on the light emitting element.

  • Publication number: 20060057850
Abstract: A method is disclosed for preparing carrier wafers for semiconductor device manufacture. The method includes the steps of sorting a plurality of standard carrier wafer blanks into batches by thickness to define a batch of starting carrier wafers that are within a predetermined tolerance of one another, reducing the thickness of the sorted carrier wafers to within 10 microns of a final target thickness, and polishing the sorted carrier wafers to the final target thickness. The polished carrier wafers are mounted to device precursor wafers having at least one semiconductor epitaxial layer on a substrate by joining one surface of a carrier wafer to the epitaxial layer on a substrate. The thickness of the device precursor wafer is then reduced by removing material from the device precursor substrate opposite the joined epitaxial layer.
