  • Patent number: 7014555
Abstract: A flue liner insert with individually adjustable sides, which can be used to fasten to, extend and join two rectangular masonry clay flue tiles. Specifically, this flue liner insert fits into the interior of a clay tile and allows adjustable fastening to existing masonry clay tiles in a manner that can withstand common loads and also not interfere with the chimney draft. This flue liner insert can be used to extend masonry chimneys, join clay flue tiles, anchor ceramic chimney pots, partially or fully line existing chimneys, and mount standard or integrated chimney caps.

  • Publication number: 20050064806
Abstract: Improved extended chimney cover for installation on a masonry chimney. The Extended Plinth (106) is substantially elongated vertically to allow termination at a varied level from adjacent flues. Above Extended Plinth (106) is a Screen or Open area (108) which allows for flue gas exhaust. A solid vertical Deflector (110) can optionally be installed along one face of the Screen or Open area to further protect adjacent flues from effects of the flue gases.

  • Patent number: 5320246
Abstract: A kettle is adapted for use on a narrow ledge of a wood, pellet, or coal burning stove or the like by flattening one side and providing substantially greater weight per unit area to the flattened side and bottom such that the center of gravity of the kettle is located in the vicinity of the juncture between the bottom and the flattened side. A spout for the kettle is adapted with an opening which points horizontally away from the flattened side to direct steam to a space in front of the stove and thereby minimize damage from steam otherwise rising directly upward and depositing moisture on adjacent or nearby stove pipes or parts.
