Publication number: 20190347722Abstract: To provide funding mechanisms and alternatives for users while at gaming institutions, a coordinated communication system and mechanism allows for interaction with a virtual bank. This coordination will allow users to potentially request additional credit, or additional fund advances as desired or necessary. Because this request is being carried or handled by a virtual bank, nearly instantaneous credit decisions can be made using existing mechanisms and processes. In the manner much the same as any banking transaction, the financial institution itself with have access to credit information provided by the user, thereby allowing the creation of virtual credit accounts such as instant issue debit cards, or instant issue funds advances. Since the system allows for this secure communication, efficient and effective financial transactions can be easily completed.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 14, 2019Publication date: November 14, 2019Inventors: Craig K. Publication number: 20150087402Abstract: A method of performing a financial transaction by a casino customer located at a casino gaming station. The method includes providing a portable, remote control unit (RCU) to the customer at the gaming station. Transaction information is entered into the RCU relating to a desired financial transaction. The transaction information is signaled from the RCU to a base processor via a wireless transmission. The RCU is operated to electronically capture a signature of the customer, with this electronically captured signature being signaled from the RCU to the base processor via a wireless transmission. Finally, the base processor is operated to print, via a printer electronically connected to the base processor, a negotiable financial document based upon the transaction information. The printed negotiable financial document includes the customer's signature, generated by the base processor based upon the electronically captured signature.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 5, 2014Publication date: March 26, 2015Inventor: Craig K. Publication number: 20130324223Abstract: A system includes a receiver, a printer, and a corresponding controller to accommodate non-cash wagering while also providing a convenient process for use of currency and coins. As one function, the receiver accommodates the receipt and recognition of paper currency. The denomination of the paper currency is identified, and communicated to control circuitry so that it can be converted to point tokens. The printer will then generate a point token useable for play of the gaming device. Similarly, the system may have a coin receiver for receipt/identification of coins and the subsequent generation of corresponding point tokens. To accommodate play of the gaming machine, the receiver is capable of receiving and recognizing point tokens and applying credits on a related gaming machine. Once the point tokens are recognized and credits have been applied, the user can then proceed with the play of the gaming machine using the applied credits.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 30, 2013Publication date: December 5, 2013Inventor: Craig K. Publication number: 20130006745Abstract: An incentive system is provided which includes the coordinated operation of at least one automated customer service device, an incentives program management system and a tangible reward awarding device, wherein a user is automatically awarded a tangible award if certain criteria or activity is carried out and identified by the incentives program system. Through appropriate communication, the incentives program management system can identify predetermined user activities or criteria based upon a user's interaction with an automated customers service device, and then trigger a tangible reward device to award a predetermined tangible award to the user. In this manner, tangible rewards can be awarded to users at a location having the automated customer service device and an associates reward device without the need for interaction by an employee.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 29, 2012Publication date: January 3, 2013Inventor: Craig K.
