  • Patent number: 11992965
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for perforating louver perforations into a pipe are contemplated. Systems, methods, and devices for transporting pipes for perforation are contemplated. Systems, methods, and devices for performing quality control inspections of such perforations contemplated. A pipe may be oriented vertically and raised over a device that punches perforations into the pipe from the inside of the pipe toward the outside of the pipe. Various supports may contact the pipe for stabilization and to facilitate the formation of perforations without removing cut away pieces from the pipe. Electronic monitoring of the features of the pipe facilitate quality control inspection during processing. In this manner, a structurally robust pipe having a series of louver perforations along the pipe may be formed.

  • Patent number: 11953042
Abstract: Spline joints and methods of installing the same. A spline joint may include a box and a pin each having a hollow cylindrical body. The pin may be received by the box. The spline joint may further include splines received by a first set of grooves of the box and grooves of the pin. The splines may be insertable between the first set of grooves through a first set of slots of the box to join the box and the pin. The spline joint may further include at least one O-ring to be received by a second set of grooves of the box to create a seal between the box and the pin. The spline joint may further include a key configured to be received by a second slot of the box and installed in a slot of the pin.

  • Publication number: 20220226178
Abstract: A trauma gurney includes a base connected to a frame by a vertical adjustment mechanism. The base is configured that it can be maneuvered over a receiving table. The frame holds a detachable platform suitable for the positioning of a patient thereon. Actuation of the adjustment mechanism allows the frame to be lowered and the patient platform to be detached. The patient platform is configured to be non-interfering with various procedures such as MRI procedures so the patient platform can remain with the patient after the patient has been transferred without adverse effects to the procedures. The patient platform can also be reattached to the frame after it has been removed. The trauma gurney beneficially allows a patient to be transferred from the gurney to another surface, such as for imaging, without requiring a conventional lateral transfer. Similarly, the trauma gurney allows a patient to be transferred back to the gurney.
