Abstract: An article includes a laminate material with an aerogel layer and a polysiloxane layer distinct from the aerogel layer and in contact with the aerogel layer either directly or through an adhesive that is in direct contact with both the aerogel layer and the polysiloxane layer; where the polysiloxane layer comprises a polysiloxane and greater than 5 weight-percent and 95 weight-percent or less based on polysiloxane layer weight of fire retarding additives selected from a group consisting of metal hydroxides, mixed metal hydroxides, hydrated metal salts, and any combinations thereof dispersed throughout the polysiloxane layer.

Abstract: The technology described herein is directed to generating a video. In this regard, one or more computing devices may receive a set of encoded video feeds. The one or more computing devices may store video frames from each encoded video feed in the set of encoded video feeds. The one or more computing devices may composite two or more of the stored video frames into a single frame and render the single frame onto a video wall. In some instances, video frames may be transmitted to other computing devices.

Abstract: A digital media presentation system suitable for use in providing digital signage or similar types of advertising. A video display system is used as an example of a digital media presentation system. The system includes a server that provides a user interface. Through the interface, a user may specify a schedule of assets to be executed on video display units. Execution of assets may result in display of video information in one or more windows on the video display units. Execution of assets may be synchronized within the windows and the information in each window may be coordinated to provide significant flexibility in display of information through the video display system. Application of the invention more generally to digital media presentation systems is also described, using examples of systems that integrate audio and visual information.
