  • Publication number: 20070002478
Abstract: The invention includes a system for imparting at least one characteristic of photographic emulsion to an image. The system includes a light transmissible medium at least partially provided with photographic film emulsion, wherein the photographic film emulsion is capable of being exposed and chemically processed. Furthermore, light that is related to an image is projected through a selected portion of the photographic film emulsion. Moreover, a containment is included for providing the light transmissible medium in a position relative to the projected light, wherein the image is imparted with the at least one quality related to the photographic film emulsion.

  • Publication number: 20060290887
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system is provided for increasing image information storage capacity within available media involving a film camera capture. The system comprises a strip of photographic emulsion bearing media having at least two surfaces, and wherein two of the at least two surfaces are provided with emulsion. A camera is provided that has a lens, wherein the camera exposes aspects of a lens gathered image on the two surfaces of the photographic emulsion bearing media, and further wherein at least light is gathered and relayed by a lens image relaying device. A processor is further provided for processing the photographic emulsion bearing media, and an imaging device is included for providing electronic image data representing image information from the photographic emulsion bearing media.

  • Publication number: 20060274188
Abstract: Disclosed is a camera to provide images for use in multi-dimensional imaging. In an embodiment, the camera includes an image gathering lens operable to obtain a lens image of a visual, a plurality of optic modules operable to provide distinct focusing options for the lens image, a relaying module operable to relay at least part of the lens image to the plurality of optic modules and a plurality of capture devices operable to capture a plurality of distinct versions of the lens image from the plurality of optic modules relayed from the relaying module. In another embodiment, a multi-dimensional imaging system is provided that includes a camera, such as described above, and further includes a computing device operable to receive and display the plurality of distinct versions, and a data management module operable to receive data related to the distinct versions and to display the distinct versions on separate displays.

  • Publication number: 20060239586
Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention includes a media simulation system that provides at least one lens operable to optically relay a single visual scene, and a first visual medium and a second visual medium. The first imaging medium and the second imaging medium are each operable to capture and store respective images of the single visual scene. Further, the respective images stored on the first imaging medium are correlated with the respective images stored on the second imaging medium. Also provide is a data management program operable on a computing device to selectively apply aspects of the respective images stored on the first imaging medium to modify corresponding aspects of the respective images stored on the second imaging medium.
