Abstract: Special interest subgroups are formed by a group of participants by establishing a profile for each participant. The profile defines contribution attributes dealing with contributions the profiled participant might make to a subgroup and attribution attributes dealing with benefits the profile participant might receive from participating in the subgroup. For each possible pairing of participants in the group, an overall contribution score and an overall benefit score is calculated for each participant. A mutual benefit score is calculated by combining the benefit scores for both participants in the pair. Participants are assigned to subgroups as a function of participant contribution and mutual benefit scores.

This authentication submission is authenticated and, if the authentication is successful, then the client device access is granted access to software applications using the provisioned user accounts that were included in the role selection. In addition, audit data of usage of the software applications by the client device is recorded. The audit data includes identification of the provisioned user accounts used to access the software applications using the role selection.

Abstract: An appliance for washing objects in which is employed a pump system for varying the spray velocity of washing fluid dispensed from spray jets affixed at an angle relative to a spray arm. In one embodiment, the pump system includes a pump having a pump motor such as a synchronous motor responsive to a variable frequency, single-phase alternating current input. The pump system also includes a pump motor control circuit configured to vary the frequency and voltage of the input, which in one example effectuates changes in the rotational speed of the pump motor in accordance with one or more operational cycles. The pump motor control circuit incorporates in one example a rectifier and an inverter that permits operation of the appliance when coupled to supply mains.

Abstract: A method for authenticating client devices from a conference call server, wherein the conference call server includes a memory for storing conference call scheduling information with respect to scheduled conference call sessions, and wherein the conference call server is in communication with an enterprise server. The method includes receiving in the conference call server a communication from a client device with respect to a scheduled conference call session, and determining whether the client device is associated with the enterprise server, and if so authenticating the client device with respect to the scheduled conference call session.

Abstract: Breathing assistance apparatus for treating sleep apnoea are described. More specifically, nasal interface for the supply of respiratory gases, but most particularly positive pressure gases are described. The nasal interfaces may include various forms of nasal pillows or nasal plugs. Associated elements such as manifolds or housings to hold or secure the pillows or plugs, or headgear are also disclosed.

Abstract: A refrigerator includes a compartment defined by a liner, with a door configured to provide access into the compartment. A sub-compartment is mounted in the door and extends into the compartment in the closed position of the door. A cold plate assembly is operably configured within the liner to supply cold air to the sub-compartment. A raised embossment is defined in a compartment side wall of the liner at a location opposite from the cold plate assembly. The embossment is defined by a circumferentially extending ridge and a front face that extends into the compartment in a plane that is spaced from a plane of the compartment side wall. A receiver is configured in a wall of the sub-compartment and seals around the embossment in a closed position of the door.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a pad for use under a covering layer. The pad can include a mat with at least one off-all portion, the at least one off-all portion having a puzzle-piece shape. The mat has a bounding portion that is complementary shaped with at least part of the at least one off-all portion, and the bounding portion and the off-all portion have an interference fit therebetween. The interference fit between the bounding portion and the at least one off-all portion provides for the off-all portion to be removably attached to the mat. In addition, removal of the at least one off-all portion from the mat provides an opening for a component to be nested therewithin, while not removing the at least one off-all portion provides structural support to the covering layer that is located over the mat.

Abstract: A gaming ticket dispensing device is provided for dispensing tickets having prize-revealing characters and a removable covering for hiding the prize-revealing characters prior to acquisition by an end user. The ticket dispensing device includes a storage mechanism for holding a plurality of gaming tickets. A revealer is provided for removing the removable covering to reveal the prize-revealing characters, and a scanner is provided for scanning the prize-revealing characters. A processor is in communication with the scanner for processing the scanned characters' information to determine a prize value associated with the characters scanned. An audio visual display displays an audio visual message relating to the prize value and a dispensing port is provided for dispensing the gaming ticket to the user.

Abstract: An interchangeable transducer for use with an ultrasound medical system having a keyless adaptor and capable of operating in a wet environment. The interchangeable transducer has an adaptor for engaging a medical system, an ultrasound transducer and additional electronics to provide a self-contained insert for easy replacement and usage in a variety of medical applications. A slip ring spacer is also disclosed, the slip ring spacer for use with a pancake slip ring having a base and flange configuration to form one or more channels around each contact ring of the pancake slip ring. The channels provide fluid isolation around each connector to help reduce electronic cross talk and contact corrosion between the connector pads of the slip ring while the slip ring is immersed in a wet environment.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine readable and executable instructions are provided for business process tracking. Business process tracking can include collecting data from network traffic. Instances of the data can include a number of events, a session identifier, and user information. The data can be filtered to a reduced number of events with a network monitoring engine. A number of business process event identifiers corresponding to the reduced number of events can be defined in a network adaptor. An individual instance of the business process can be distinguished according to the session identifier and the user information. The individual instance of the business process can be tracked independent of a number of applications running on the network.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing removable storage tanks in an appliance having a pedestal are disclosed. The systems include a storage container located in the pedestal and configured to house an additive. In addition, a cover may be positioned within the pedestal to secure the container within the pedestal. The methods include manufacturing the pedestal such that when a storage container is placed in the pedestal, the storage container will fit in a predetermined orientation. The storage container may be manufactured such that when the storage container is placed in the pedestal the storage container can be secured in the pedestal with a cover.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product for evaluating a context-based (e.g., XACML) policy having a set of attributes using a weighted index tree having one or more leaves extending from a root node. Each leaf of the tree represents a policy rule. A depth-first path down the leaf represents one or more attributes of the set of attributes that must be present in a request for the rule to be applicable. An input is evaluated against the weighted index tree to generate a response. One type of input is an authorization request, in which case the response is an authorization decision (e.g., permit or deny). Another type of input is a query for a set of entitlements, in which case the response is a set of entitlements.
